The Correlation of Playing Mobile Legends and the Academic Performance of students
ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS
There is significant correlation between playing Mobile Legends and the
academic performance of high school students.
NULL HYPOTHESIS
There is no significant correlation between playing Mobile Legends and the
academic performance of students.
Mobile Legends players and students. It will give them knowledge about
the effects of playing this particular game and how to make them more
responsible and cautious in terms of playing mobile games.
Parents. It will make them aware regarding the possible negative effects
as well as the positive ones their children might get by playing Mobile
Legends. By the help of this study, it will help them to guide their children
and motivate them to be better at studying. It will help also them in
understanding their children’s study habit.
Teachers. It will provide them knowledge regarding the study habits of the
students and how to handle those students who often play this kind of
game. It will also help them on how to discipline and educate their
students in terms of Mobile gaming.
Future researchers. This study would help them by being a guide for their
research and it can be used as a reference data of other researchers who
would conduct a research with same subject matter.

SCOPE
PURPOSE
To determine the connection between playing Mobile Legends and the
academic performance of high school students and to spread awareness
about its negative and positive effects.
TOPIC
This study is about the correlation of playing Mobile Legends and the
academic performance of selected high school students. Mobile Legends
is an online game created to be played on mobile phones, tablets, and the
like, which is currently popular for being fun and addicting; It is usually
played by majority of the youth.
LIMITATIONS
RESPONDENTS
This study covers the Vox Dei Academy’s highschool students who are
exposed to technology and frequently play Mobile Legends online. The
researchers would conduct an interview and throw questions at them in
regards to this particular game. This research will find the reason behind
the bad and good academic performance of students who play Mobile
Legends.
