Course description This course studies the general concepts of building
maintenance management. Classification of maintenance
types, works order types, and planning and scheduling of
maintenance works techniques.

Purpose of the course


To have knowledge and skills about the general concept of
building maintenance methods with energy efficiency
awareness

Motivation and To increase awareness in energy efficiency during building


relevance maintenance works.

Course goals This course aims to provide knowledge and skills to students
about building maintenance management.

To have knowledge about how to minimize energy


consumption in the process of building maintenance
management

Course role in study 3rd semester: Construction Material Technology.

understanding of the principles management and the


causes of building deterioration.
- To design maintenance work order to utilize available
resources.
- To analyze and solve engineering problem that deal
with planning, scheduling and controlling maintenance
project.

To be able to interact, coordinate, communicate properly with
relevant actors in teamwork and external stakeholders
