How Can I Know That

I am Going to Heaven?

Let the Bible tell you how to go to

Heaven.
(John 5:39) “Search the scriptures; for in them ye
think ye have eternal life: and they are they which
testify of me.”
(John 20:29) “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because
thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they
that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
30) “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the
presence of his disciples, which are not written in this
book:”
31) “But these are written, that ye might believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing
ye might have life through his name.”
(1 John 5:13) “These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye
may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Understand man’s condition.

Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we
have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD
hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Romans 3:19, “Now we know that what things soever
the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:
that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world
may become guilty before God.”
Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous,
no, not one.”
Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God.”

Sin is the nature of every man. Sin brings

judgment to man.
Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once
to die, but after this the judgment:”
Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.”
Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered
into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
2nd Thessalonians 1:8, “In flaming fire taking
vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey
not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Revelation 20:15, "And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and
the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,
and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have
their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.”
This fire is damnation in a literal place where the
unrighteous spend eternity.

God has made a way of salvation to escape

damnation.
Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us.”
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
1st Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy
of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the
world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”
1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were
not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers; But with the precious
blood of Christ...”
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare
unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which
also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which
also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I
preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also
received, how that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he
rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
This is the Gospel.

Salvation is a free gift to all who will receive.

John 11:25, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection,
and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were
dead, yet shall he live.”
John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall
we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus
answered and said unto them, This is the work of God,
that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me.”
John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on
him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up
at the last day.”
Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by
faith in Christ Jesus.”
John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name: Which were born, not of
blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but of God.”
Just as the Passover Lamb’s blood was sufficient for
God in the day of Moses, (Exodus chapter 12), the
blood of Jesus Christ is sufficient for us today.
(1 John 2:7) “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the
light, we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Can we know for sure about salvation, and are

we saved for all time?
John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on
him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up
at the last day.”
1 Peter 1:4-5, “To an inheritance incorruptible, and
undefiled, and that fadeth not away reserved in
heaven for you. Who are kept by the power of God
through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in
the last time.”
1 John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that
believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may
know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe
on the name of the Son of God.”
John 5:24, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that
heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and
they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck
them out of my hand.”
Ephesians 4:30, “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of
God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of
redemption.”
Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.”
Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing,
that he which hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Jude 1, “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother

of James, to them that are sanctified by God the
Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”
