1)In start go to Informatica Power Center Express
2)Start Informatica services
3)Launch Informatica administrator
->Enter username(administrator)and password(admin) and open DIS
4)Now launch Informatica Developer

5)In notepad create attributes for both source file and target file and save them.

6)Connect to Model Repository and connect.

7)Go to Model Repository and select new project.
8) Go to Model Repository and select new dataobject.
9)Select Flat File Object in it.

10)In Flat File Object browse for source file and click next.
11)Now import column name from first line select start import line as 1 so there
will be the data present and not the attributes.
12)If needed the precision of the attribute can be change.

16 ) Now drag and drop Source file,Target file and the operation to be
performed in between the files in this case we are making use of join which
joins the file like outer join, inner join etc ->In properties go to join for the
options .

17) Copy records from source to filter and filter to target by adding required fields
and the transformation that you wanted to perform.
