 Introduction

RUDSET Institute (Rural Dev. & Self Employment Training Institute) jointly sponsored by
SDME trust, Syndicate Bank & Canara Bank established in the year 1982 at Ujire, Karnataka
State, India. It has 27 branches across the country running under the dynamic leadership of
Padmabhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala. On basis of its success rate the
Ministry of Rural Development has pleased to declare RUDSET Institute as a replicate model
for all RSETIs (Rural Self Employment Training Institutes) initiated by various Nationalized
Banks and Regional Rural banks.
At the insistence of Rural Development Department, Govt.of Tripura & Ministry of Rural
Development, Govt. of India RUDSETI, Agartala inaugurated on 14.9.2011 at Swavalamban
Building, A. D. Nagar, west Tripura. In Tripura RUDSETI has been working as a Nodal RSETI
and rendering services to the unemployed youth of Tripura. State level Bankers Committee
(SLBC) has allotted two districts as operational Districts of RUDSETI.RUDSETI is imparting
skill Development Training for unemployed youth under age group 18-45 years. RUDSETI
imparting training on various trades such as – Agriculture EDP , Product EDP , Process EDP ,
General EDP , EDP for Bank Mitras , EDP for SHGs .
The Central secretariat of RUDSETI is in Ujire , KD.K. District Karnataka. At head quarter
level Governing body headed by the President of RUDSETI and Governing Council headed by
Executive Director RUDSETI. At district Level, DM & Collector, West Tripura is the Chairman
of RUDSETI advisory Committee. In Addition to that, SLBC sub-committee for RSETIs under
RD, Department Govt. of Tripura monitoring the activities of the Institute.
RUDSETI having good association with NABARD, SIDBI, TRLM, BADP and conduct s various
training for unemployed youth from time to time under sponsorship of these organizations.
Apart from that KVIC has declared RUDSETI as an accredited Training Institute for
conduction of EDP for PMEGP Beneficiaries & RUDSETI has been providing EDP training in a
successful manner.
In this way RUDSETI whole -heartedly dedicated for spreading Entrepreneurship education
in Tripura since 2011.
 THE PRESENT PROPOSAL
A) Title of the programme: - Entrepreneurship Development programme

B) Objectives of the programme: - After the programme the participants will be able to

I) Identify the systematic approach of Enterprise Management

II) Explain basics of accounting ,costing , Profit management

III) Explore the marketing management techniques

IV) Explain legal formalities of an enterprise, backward and forward linkage issues.

06( Batch will be started jointly with the beneficiary of Khowai Municipal Council

 Ideal batch size for EDP: - 25-30

 Minimum requirement of participants in a Batch: - 20 Participants

 Training Timings: - 8 Hours Daily

 Total Training duration: 48 Hours /6 days

 Arrangement of Tiffin /Lunch: - Cost of Tiffin /Tea-snaks/ Lunch etc. for the

participants shall be borne by Khowai Municipal Council itself. Arrangement of food

shall be managed by Khowai Municipal council.

 TA To trainees: - There is no such provision to provide TA Bill to Trainees.

 Stipend: - There is no provision for stipend for training participants.

 Class Room and facilities like sound system, Electricity etc.shall be provided to

RUDSETI by Khowai municipal Council at free of cost.

Training expenses: - reimbursement will be as per KVIC, Govt. of India

Guidelines i.e. Rs. 405 per day per trainee.
 Total Participants: - 06
 Training days – 6 days
 Amount to be paid: - Rs. 405 per day per trainee
 Total Training Cost will be 6x6x405) = Rs. 14580 (Rupees Fourteen
Thousand Five Hundred Eighty ) only
 This amount is without GST /TDS as RUDSETI training claims is not coming
under Income Tax as it is a social organization (Registration Certificate
enclosed) which is working for social cause.
H) Mode of Payment: - Training Expenditure shall be reimbursed only through NEFT or
A/C Payee Cheque in favour of RUDSET Institute , Agartala
