IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous

The teacher will show a short documentary video of social workers in particular setting.
B. Establishing a
purpose for the Guide Questions:

The teacher will show photos of different settings of social work and will ask the students to give their insights.

Then the class will cluster the following photos according to the five settings where social workers are found.
These are as follows:
a. Government
b. Private sectors
c. Civil society
d. School
e. Community

Discussion of different settings of social work and giving examples.
A. Government- Foster care agencies (Children and families), Health care settings, including community-based
clinics and hospitals, Schools
Federal, state, or local correctional facilities
D. Discussing new
Settings that serve older adults (nursing homes)
concepts and B. Private Sector- (Advocacy, consultancy services, employee assistance program, counselling, policy and
practicing new skills program development)

The students will be grouped into five. Each group will be assigned to explain a setting where social workers are
found.

Each group will be given three minutes to present their output.
