Teenage pregnancy is one of the major issue/concern in the world. It is a communal problem, a family problem, and a
personal problem rolled into one. The Philippines has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the world. Every hour, 24
babies are born to teenage mothers; approximately 500 babies born every day. It is alarming how quick the rate of teenage
pregnancy in our country is rising.
As a student, what do you think are the effects of teenage pregnancy in our country? And what is the most effective
way to prevent teenage pregnancy? Answer the following questions by applying some, if not all, critical thinking skills.
