JOY ULTRA ANTIBACTERIAL DISHWASHING LIQUID

- Joy dishwashing liquid is a major brand of dish-cleaning detergent product made by U.S.-
based personal and cleaning products.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT/S:

 Triclosan (0.10%)

INACTIVE INGREDIENT/S:

 Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

 Sodium Laureth Sulfate
 Dimethyl Amine Oxide
 Sodium Dodecylbenzenesulfonate
 Sodium Chloride

TRICLOSAN

 It is an ingredient added to many consumer products intended to reduce or prevent

bacterial contamination. It is added to some antibacterial soaps and body washes,
toothpastes, and some cosmetics—products regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA).

SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE

 SLS is what’s called a “surfactant.” This means it lowers the surface tension between
ingredients, which is why it’s used as a cleansing and foaming agent.

SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE

 is and ingredient derived from ethoxylated lauryl alcohol and used as a surfactant;
may be contaminated with potentially toxic manufacturing impurities such as 1,4-
dioxane.
DIMETHYL AMINE OXIDE

 is Non-ionic / cationic surfactant (pH dependant) used as fragrances solubilizer and

thickener in bleaches based on Sodium Hypochlorite.

SODIUM DODECYLBENZENESULFONATE

 is comprised of substituted aromatic compounds and used as a surfactant in a variety

of cosmetics and personal care products, primarily cleansing products such as bath
soaps and shampoos. It is considered a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS), or
specific classification of surfactant that is known to be especially soluble and effective
at low concentrations. It is used because of its ability to help water to mix with oil and
dirt so that they can be rinsed away (CosmeticsInfo.org).

SODIUM CHLORIDE

 is a metal halide composed of sodium and chloride with sodium and chloride
replacement capabilities. When depleted in the body, sodium must be replaced in
order to maintain intracellular osmolarity, nerve conduction, muscle contraction and
normal renal function.
SUNLIGHT ANTIBACTERIAL DISHWASHING LIQUID

- Sunlight is a brand of household soap introduced by the British company Lever Brothers in
1884. It was the world's first packaged, branded laundry soap.

INGREDIENT/S:

 Diethanolamine
 Magnesium Oxide
 Ethyl Alcohol
 Dodecylbenzene Sulfonic Acid
 Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate

DIETHANOLAMINE

- DEA is used as a surfactant and a corrosion inhibitor. It is used to remove hydrogen

sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas. In oil refineries, a DEA in water solution
is commonly used to remove hydrogen sulfide from sour gas. It has an advantage over
a similar amine ethanolamine in that a higher concentration may be used for the same
corrosion potential. This allows refiners to scrub hydrogen sulfide at a lower
circulating amine rate with less overall energy usage.

MAGNESIUM OXIDE

- or magnesia, is a white hygroscopic solid mineral that occurs naturally as periclase

and is a source of magnesium. It has an empirical formula of MgO and consists of a
lattice of Mg²⁺ ions and O2− ions held together by ionic bonding.

ETHYL ALCOHOL

- is a chemical compound that contains methanol which can be toxic to our body. It's
used to mix with the other ingredients in soaps/dishwashing liquids and it's a good
cleanser and antibacterial agent to help remove germs and bacterias from dishes.
DODECYLBENZENE SULFONIC ACID

- is a colorless liquid. It is soluble in water. It is corrosive to metals and tissue. It is used to

make detergents.

SODIUM LAURYL ETHER SULFATE

- an accepted contraction of sodium lauryl ether sulfate, is an anionic detergent and
surfactant found in many personal care products. SLES is an inexpensive and very
effective foaming agent.
