SUBJECT: REQUEST FUNDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE

EVACUATION CENTER TO BE DOWLOADED DIRECTLY TO THE
RESPECTIVE LGU OF EACH MUNICIPALITY

Dear Madam:

The undersigned, Honorable Mayors of the different Municipalities in the Province of

Iloilo, Antique, Aklan and Capiz, humbly request your good office on the allocation of
Fifty Million Pesos (Php50,000,000.00) Fund for the Construction of Evacuation
Center to be downloaded directly to the respective Local Government Unit (LGU) of
each Municipality with substantial reasons as follows:

a) It may cause the delay to reach the treasury if ever downloaded to the Department
of Public Works and Highways (DPWH);
b) There were many pending projects and abandoned by the Department of Public
Works and Highways (DPWH);
c) Fast and proper monitoring if downloaded directly to the respective Local
Government Unit (LGU) of each Municipality;
d) To insure that the proposed project will be finished on time;

e) The project will be fully protected;

f) Meticulous selection of competent bidders.

The undersigned hoping and praying that this request will be given preferential
attention and favorable disposition.
