FREE Language Game Boards
Grab this set of 10 FREE, one-page language game boards! Just PRINT AND PLAY!
Each game covers one of the following topics: fruits, vegetables, foods, school, pets,
daily routines, landforms/places, buildings, hobbies, and body parts.
***The boards are in color to make them more appealing to students. However, if you
open the file with ADOBE READER, you can print them in grayscale to save ink. Just
open the “Print” window and check the box labeled “Print in grayscale” in the top
center.***
DIRECTIONS: Add game pieces and one die. On your turn, roll. When you land on an
item, you can: 1) name the action/object or 2) use it in a sentence. The first person to
make it to “FINISH” wins!
The games are purposefully open-ended, allowing teachers to focus on skills that
students need. For example, I created these games to use at home with my children as
they study Mandarin. My younger son uses the games for learning basic vocabulary. My
older children must use the actions/objects in a sentence.
