Constructional system of partitions and linings characterizes by almost complete prefabrication of elements and
mounting profiles. It ensures easy and fast installation, and accommodations of high standard. Accommodations
designed in this system meet the requirements of fire protection of all classes and acoustic insulation.
Beside basic partitions and linings we supply also partitions and linings for wet areas.
CONSTRUCTION
The “sandwich” panels used in construction are made from galvanized steel sheets coated with decorative PVC
foil. Between steel sheets there is thermal and acoustic core made of mineral wool. Lengthwise edges of board
are fastened with a connector and are shaped in such a way that they form “own fastener”. These are also known
as progressive style panels. We can also supply “C” clip panels, which are a non‐progressive system and allows for
easy assembly and dismounting without disturbing adjacent panels. The completeness of the system lies in the
fact that the producer offers bottom and top profiles, multi‐functional corner profiles, which make various joints
between walls and wall/ceilings possible. In addition we can supply lining doors, cable casings, window framings,
cases for the extinguishers.
FIRE RESISTANCE
Basic materials are classified as non‐combustible.
Finishing materials (decorative coatings) meet the requirements of international standard in scope of low
flame‐spread characteristics. All materials are non‐toxic.
Presented wall structures passed international fire test according to SOLAS‐1974 Convection with
amendments and comply with relevant requirements.
Wall structure is approved as B0 and B15 by different Classification Societies and National Authorities.
Certificates of approvals, materials and approved drawings of mounting joints are submitted on request.
MOUNTING
Mounting of wall panels must be carried out in accordance with a design. Before starting mounting of walls, the
places of fixing bottom and top channels shall be marked on the steel deck. Bottom, top channels and fasteners or
curtain plates shall be welded to the steel deck. Partition and lining boards are placed in bottom and top
channels, which create a self‐supporting construction of walls. Various corner and wall profiles are used for
corner joints.
Completing wall structure panels should be mounted in the last sequence of outfitting. The mounting of boards
located near doors is done after fixing doors by means of “Omega” profile or two guiding profiles. All additional
casing such as: pilers, ducts shall be made of cut‐off panels. All joints of these panels shall be masked by standard
or untypical finishing profiles. Visible surfaces of boards and profiles are protected by peel‐off foil during
production and assembly. Lukewarm water and soap or ordinary detergent usually removes dirty stains. Never
use any abrasive means or scouring powder.

SELF‐SUPPORTING CEILING
The ceiling is designed to be used on vessels and in industrial land projects. Various classes of fire protection are
met due to insulation from non‐combustible mineral wool. A smooth surface and easy assembly are
advantageous of this type of construction, but the main advantage is its self‐supporting construction.
CONSTRUCTION
The ceiling consists of plank elements, profiles, girders and suspending elements when the planks are longer than
3000 mm.
Basic elements are: planks 300 mm wide with thermal insulation from non‐combustible mineral wool.
FIRE RESISTANCE
The ceiling is made of basic materials which are classified as non‐combustible. Finishing materials comply with the
requirements of international standards in scope of low flame spread characteristics and are approved by all
major classification societies. The panel ceiling has passed fire tests for A and B classes.

PLANK TYPE CEILING WITH SHADOW GAP
This plank type ceiling is designed for installation in compartments where an easy access to space between the
steel deck is required. Fire protection of different classes is obtained by insulation of mineral wool within ceiling
planks and shadow gaps by means of additional insulation layer. This plank type ceiling allows possibilities for
building of various and attractive architectural arrangements and also connection with modular ceiling panels.
CONSTRUCTION
The ceiling consists of plank components, mounting profiles and trims, which are available in various modular
widths. Mineral wool of appropriate thickness and density inserted into ceiling planks provide the thermal and
acoustic insulation and ensure fire protection. Intermediate hangers support the ceiling, which are prepared for
snapping assembly of ceiling planks in different modular widths. Higher class of fire protection is obtained by
adding additional mineral wood to the ceiling.
FIRE RESISTANCE
Basic materials are classified as non‐combustible.
Finishing materials (decorative coatings) meet the requirements of international standards in scope of
low flame‐spread characteristics. All materials are non‐toxic.
Presented ceiling structures passed international fire test according to SOLAS‐1974 with amendments
and comply with relevant requirements.
Ceiling structure is approved as B0/A15 and B15/A30/A60 by different Classification Societies and
National Authorities.
Certificates of approvals, materials and approved drawings of mounting joints are submitted on request.
MOUNTING
Before starting the installation of the ceilings, points of suspension shall be marked on steel deck . Then, round
bars of girder suspension are fastened to steel deck at these marked points. Hanging up of girders to girder
suspension is done by means of screw with nuts making leveling of supporting structure possible. When the
supporting structure is already leveled, ceiling planks are snapped into the girders and then shadow gap planks
are pressed between ceiling planks. Visible surfaces of ceiling and shadow gap planks are protected by peel‐off
foil during production and assembly. Lukewarm water and soap or ordinary detergent usually removes stains.
Never use any abrasive or scouring powder.

Prefabricated Wet Modules
All materials, equipment and fittings are of the highest quality. In addition,
all products are subject to stringent quality inspections and tests, thereby
eliminating customer dissatisfaction. We are able to supply various types
of ready-to-fit sanitary modules, suitable for ships and/or buildings. The
most popular are modules, each made by either thin steel sheets or
sandwich panels. Each sanitary module is delivered as a ready-to-fit
element, fully furnished with all necessary sanitary and fitting equipment,
water, electrical and waste installations, as well as properly finished to
meet any technical specifications requested by the client.
As an option, we are also able to deliver each module in “knock-down”
version for repair or conversion at ships or platforms.
WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS
MOS supplies various types of ready-to-fit sanitary cabins, suitable for ships
and/or buildings. The most popular are modules, each made by either thin steel
sheets or sandwich panels. Steel cabins are closed, self-supporting and stiff
constructions, insulated with mineral wool (Rockwool) on the outside and finished
with Perginol, terracotta tiles and/or PVC on the inside (walls, floor and ceiling
respectively). Colors used on the inside are according to customer's request. The
weight of a fully equipped steel cabin varies, according to type, from 330 up to
730 kg. Sandwich paneled modules are assembled on a steel base and
incorporate the same features as the steel modules, except for the inside
finishing which applies only to the floor (Perginol, terracotta or special mastic).
Inside walls are covered with PVC film of any color the customer may request.
They are much lighter than the metal cabins. Prior to delivery, each module
undergoes stringent quality inspections, including leaking and piping pressure
tests.
SAMPLES OF WET UNITS:
The catalogue depicts only a sample of the types
of modules available. To suit any customer, we
can supply numerous possible combinations.
