INTRODUCTION

Community is a group of people who three elements in communities. 1) Community

have similar purposes and most of them very as place, notably a geographically bounded
fanatics to support actor/actress whom they location; 2) Community as social interaction,
proud. Many communities in the world such in which social networks and social supports
as: motorbike group, university organization, are crucial; 3) Community as political and
religious group and others. Patrick and social responsibility, involving political and
Wickizer (1995) examine a smaller set of social motives in the formation of communal
groups. Phil Brown (1992) said several
important elements of community: 1)
Communities include a variety of geographic
and transgeographic groupings, and
sometimes involve a mixture of both types; 2)
Whether bounded or un-bounded,
communities only function effectively when
they provide social support through social
networks; 3) Communities generate collective
social action, but are also formed as a result of
such action; and 4) Community definitions
change, even over a short time period. I now
turn to examining how these concerns play
out in both geographic and transgeographic
communities.

The interesting community right now is

religious community. Actually, not only come
from Islamic religion but also christian,
buddhist, and etc they also have religious
community. But, this paper examines issues in
Islamic religion especially to Syekhermania
community as the loyal follower of Habib
Syekh Assegaf.
