Topic I: Climate Change

The increasing intensity and number of calamities is a direct result of the worsening conditions of the
environment – this phenomenon is what we call climate change.

Climate change refers to the wide-range phenomenon of seasonal changes over a period of time due to the
warming of the Earth’s surface resulting to the rise in sea level, shrinking of ice sheets and extreme weather
events.
