Lateral Entry Admission 2018

Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), a constituent college of Karnavati University is offering

admission for a limited number of seats in the 2nd and 3rd Year of its B. Design program.
These admissions are subject to availability of seats and will be allotted on the basis of
choice-cum-merit. The process for applying for admission is :

1. A written application from the student in the prescribed format along with an application
fee of Rs. 2000/-.

2. The application fee can be paid by NEFT/RTGS, cheque or demand draft.

Cheque or demand draft should be drawn in favour of “Unitedworld Institute of Design” payable
at Ahmedabad. The bank account details are:

3. The application should be accompanied by:

  Student's Portfolio.

  Copy of NOC/Migration certificate from the student's parent university.

  Mark Statements of 1st and 2nd Semester (for 2nd year admission) and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th

Semester examination (for 3rd year admission) in original conducted by the parent University.
  Copy of Academic Transcripts of all the Semesters.

  Copy of 12th Std. Mark statement.

4.The admission to the 2nd and 3rd year of B. Design Program at UID will be decided on the basis
of evaluation report of student's portfolio by the evaluation committee of UID, marks scored by
the student in his 1st and 2nd Semester (for 2nd year admission) and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Semester examination (for 3rd year admission) B. Design examination as well as the equivalence
of the programe pursued by the student at the previous institute with that of UID.

5.The students selected for admission to the 2nd and 3rd year of B. Design program at UID will be
informed individually. These students have to conform their admission by submitting the
following:

  Student's Portfolio.
  NOC/Migration certificate in original from the student's parent university.
  Mark Statements of 1st and 2nd Semester (for 2nd year admission) and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Semester examination (for 3rd year admission) in original conducted by the parent University.
  Academic Transcripts in original of all the semesters.
  12th Std. Mark statement in original.
  One time transfer fee of Rs. 25,000/-
  Third Semester fee of Rs. 200,000/-

The transfer fee and Semester Fee has to be paid as mentioned in Sr. no. 2 above.
