Pharmanex®
Food supplement with green tea extract
Product Format:
Capsules

Size:
120 capsules or 30 capsules

POSITIONING STATEMENT
Nowadays green tea or green tea extract is consumed by many populations around the world; while it has
traditionally already been used for centuries in China and India, for its various benefits (*). Our Pharmanex®
food supplement provides you with green tea polyphenols.

CONCEPT
Green tea is rich in polyphenol flavonoids, including catechins. Specifically these tea catechins are reported to
present antioxidant activity by scavenging free radicals and inducing antioxidant enzymes (*).

Moreover, a substantial number of human intervention studies with green tea demonstrate a significant increase in
plasma antioxidant capacity in humans (**).
Environmental factors, such as smoke, pollution, etc. have been found to produce free radicals, unstable substances
that roam throughout the body and cause oxidative stress, resulting in damaged cells. Antioxidants contribute to the
protection of cells against oxidative stress.

PRIMARY BENEFITS AND FEATURES

Green tea consumption helps to protect our body by reinforcing the body's natural defence against the effects of
free radicals that occur from pollution, stress, smoke and toxins.
