INSTALLATION GUIDE

For best results, read carefully:

It’s imperative that any other version of FIFA Manager (14, 14-15, 15-16 or 16-17) be missing from your PC. It’s
therefore necessary to uninstall in a classic way (Settings / Apps in Windows 10) your game, but also to carry out
the following operations:

- Delete the root directory of the game (FIFA Manager 14), because even uninstalled, there are still files.
Generally, the root directory is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\.

- Delete the FIFA MANAGER 14 directory located in C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\. If you want to keep your
Manager profile, make a copy of the ManagerProfiles.dat file located in C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\FIFA
MANAGER 14\Config\.

Once these mandatory operations have been performed, you must decompress, if you have not already done so,
the contents of the ".zip" archive on the Windows desktop. It’s important not to run from the archive itself. You
must have on the Windows desktop, a directory FIFAM18.

Enter the directory FIFAM 18 now, on your desktop, and launch the Installer18.exe program.

On the screen displayed, possibly change the installation path , but ideally, it’s better to leave the one proposed
by default. Then select in which language you want the Game . The name of the home directory of the game will
change if necessary.

Then click on the "Install" button.

After confirming, the files extraction begins. Be patient, it takes time, there are nearly 16,000 files. Wait for the
indication "Installation completed". There may be a change confirmation request during installation, answer yes
(depending on Windows versions and Administrator rights).

Another important step : the editor and the game must be in administrator mode. To do this, go to the installation
directory (D:\FIFA MANAGER 18 in this example). Right-click on Manager18.exe, and in the "Compatibility" tab,
check "Run this program as administrator". Do the same with the Editor (EdManager18.exe).

You then have to create a shortcut of the Manager18.exe on your desktop : click and hold with the right mouse
button, release on the desktop, and choose "Create shortcuts here". You can do the same with the Editor.

One more thing : Before running the game, run the "Resolutool-LFP18.exe" utility located in the root directory of
the installation directory to select the graphic resolution.

That's it, the installation of the game is over ! Please read the following :

By default, the number of selectable championships is limited, preventing playing with Low Division for example.
To override, run the program " deblocage-nombre-championnats-lfp18.exe " before starting a game. Be careful, do
not abuse, because too many championships selected = risks of much higher crashes.

To play with the database updated season 17-18, it is imperative to select, in game start creation, the option
"Editor database":
Note :

- This FIFA Manager version is built / improved / updated based on version 14.

- This version has no connection with Origin, so don’t go through Origin to install, uninstall or launch the game.

- This version is not an official version made by EA / BF and they therefore do not support, only Fifa Club Manager
provides support.

- Some free anti-virus programs removes the game executable (Manager18.exe and/or rld.dll), especially Avast.
Disable your anti-virus during the installation then indicate in Avast the exclusion of the directory in verification.
