ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

CONALUM NHS “ELECTRICITY: WALA GAMITA, PALUNGA!” PROGRAM

I. Rationale:
Natural resources which provide sources for electricity are being depleted faster than they
can be regenerating. Conserving energy also saves money, since electricity prices are assessed
in accordance with the amount used. Overused of energy leads to high EMF emission to which
some students or even teachers are sensitive. Reducing a school’s energy consumption will help
to reduce air pollution and solid waste. Thus, energy conservation is viewed as an important
component in the fight against global warming.

II. Objective :
 To adapt energy efficiency best practices and instill in the minds of the CNHS students
and teachers about the importance of energy consumption for school operations.

III. Date: February 20, 2017

VI. Highlights of the Activity:

The School Eco-Friendly Coordinator coordinated with the School Solid Waste
Management Coordinator in the monitoring and evaluation of the said program with the
permission of the School Head.
