EXPLORING GRIT, GRATTUDE, RESILIENCE AND OPTIMISM AS PREDICTORS OF SUBJECTIVE
WELL-BEING OF COLLEGE STUDENTS

This research focused on the factors affecting the subjective well-being of first year college
students whether grit, gratitude, resilience and optimism affects them. On the case
presented, it was highly noted that gratitude was found to be the most potent predictor for
the life satisfaction of first year students in a university. The result of this study can be used
by student guidance and counseling office in order to enhance their intervention for their
students.

IMPLEMENTATION OF CHILD PROTECTION POLICY IN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION IN


THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL

This study aimed to determine the implementation of the Child Protection Policy in the
Department of Education in the province of Rizal.

In this study, the researcher made survey questionnaires on how child protection policy was
implemented on schools. The participants were the teachers, parents of the students and the
LGU.

It was concluded that the respondents are highly aware of the implementation of Child
Protection Policy with regards to is implementation, violation and remedial procedures.

FILIPINO DIASPORA IN THE LIGHT OF LOUIS ALTHUSSER’S IDEOLOGY

This research focused on the ideation of Filipinos with regards to the mindset of aiming
working abroad. The OFWs have been the saving grace of the Philippine economy because of
their remittances. They were also quoted as “bagong bayani”, setting their mind that by doing
so, they are giving more than money but pride for their country.

In lieu to this, younger Filipinos tend to foresee themselves working abroad rather than
working here in the Philippines. As well as their preference in their degree in college is highly
influenced by their desire to go abroad.

This study will serve as an eye opener to the people as well as the government on their
prioritization on government services not merely focusing on the income generated by them
but as well as the welfare of the people.
IMPLEMENTATION OF BASIC BARANGAY SERVICES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILILLA:
INPUT TO ENHANCEMENT DEVELOPLEMT PLAN

This study is focused on the extent of implementation of basic barangay services in the
Municipality of Pililla for the year 2018 which was conducted in the barangays in the
municipality. The services mentioned were agricultural support services, health and social
welfare services, governance and response, public works and infrastructure, environmental
management, and tourism promotion services.

The study revealed that there are differences in the perceptions of respondents as far as the
implementation of basic services by the local government unit is concerned. Anent to this,
the researcher formulated inputs on recommendation to properly address the needs of the
respondents as well as those who were not able to avail the services by the local government
unit.

This study can become a reference by the local government unit in the formulation of their
laws.

SERVICE DELIVERY OF PHILIPPINE STATISTICS AUTHORITY – RIZAL PROVINCIAL

The objective of the study was to assess the extent of services delivery of the Philippine
Statistics Authority – Rizal Provincial Statistical Office. The study identified the different
services availed by the clients and the most that they are availing is the Application and
Issuance of Certificate of Registration of the Authority of Solemnize Marriage (CRASM) and
the least is the Purchase of Civil Registry Forms (Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates).

The extent of services delivery showed that in terms of courtesy, availability of information,
knowledge and competence and facilities. The study showed that the respondents were
contented in the overall services offered by the office.
