3. Drill
Let us start our day with a short drill to

We are now moving to another topic but before

5. Motivation
Pupils, for you to know our topic for today let
us have a short activity. All you have to do is
to pass the balloon to your classmate when I
say go while singing the song English Class,
and when I said stop you have to pause for a
while and anyone who holds the balloon will
burst it and answer the question inside.

B. Presentation
Today we are going to discuss about the cause
and effect. What do you mean by cause? Something that produces an effect or result.
Reason why the effects occur.

How about the effect? An event or condition that is produced by a


cause.
Change that result when something is done or
happens.
The effects are given. Encircle the letter of the

words? The cause is something that produces an effect
or result. Reason why the effects occur. While
the effects are events or conditions that is
produced by a cause. Change that result when
something is done or happens.

Now create your own cause and effect


scenario. (The pupils will create their own cause and
effect sentences)
D. Application
Now to test your understanding about our
topic, every group please gather around let us
have some short activity.
I will give you 10 minutes to give 5 examples
of a cause and effect and after that you have to
present it in front. Each correct answer will
have an equivalent grade of 20 so overall we
have 100 points.
