The Five Generations of Roseville Park
In 1983, Graham and Sally sold the
property at Narromine and moved to
the current property of “Glenwood”,
35km south of Dubbo. The stud
partnership between Robert and
Graham was dissolved in 1987 and
Robert re-named his half of the stud
East Roseville and Graham registered
the Roseville Park Merino Stud.
On the first of July 2005, Graham and
Sally’s son Matthew, at the age of 32
with his wife Cherie, purchased the
Roseville Park Merino Stud, and the
properties Glenwood and Currawarra.
Matthew, is now keen as the fifth
generation owner of the stud, to carry
on the fine family tradition of breeding
top Merino sheep.
Graham and Sally have retained
8000 acres based around their
current home of “Eulandool” near
Dubbo and at “Limestone”, Parkes
and will run the Roseville Park Dohne
Stud which was founded in 1999,
and a commercial flock.

COMMENTS:
This ram is third generation ET bred on both sides—
bred to be predictable with faultless phenotypic
design. He was a standout amongst his siblings. He
has a long shafty staple that oozes from his skin. He
has a beautiful outlook with a pure muzzle, good turn
of horn, heavy bone and a long deep body.
RP04-2536 was judged the Supreme Exhibit at the
Rabobank Dubbo National Ram Show and Sale 2006.
Sons already weigh upto 100kg at 13 months and are
exhibiting their fathers tremendous outlook.

COMMENTS:
Comments- RP05-1864 is a freak for his abilty to grow
such a fine pure wool on a massive, correct frame. He
has been entered into two CSIRO Bare breech area
(BBA) trials and the Sheep Genomics information
nucleus for research into gene markers and gene
mapping for growth and BBA.
With the call to end mulsing by 2010 there are only a
handful of studs trying to genetically breed a long term
solution to a mules free sheep.
This ram will be a foundation sire to start a new family
at Roseville Park to supply rams to fill a market driven
demand of some of our clients seeking BBA sires.
RP05-1864’s woolcut figures of +25 put him in the top
2% of the breed for clean fleece weight.

RP4-2365 was a standout lamb in the drop, showing
plenty of growth and capacity. He has a tremendous
barrel and cannon bone. He stands very correct on all
four feet.
His wool is a free flowing 64’s type that is pearly white.
2365 has a good clean poll socket that is dry and free
from suint. He has been used in the poll flock through AI
and ET. Some outstanding sons are available this year.

Judged first at his first outing at Bendigo in the milk
tooth Poll ram class and placed second in the All
Purpose class.
His dam is an interesting cross of Nerstane 43 and
