NON-IMPORT, EARLY FEATURES...Mfd 1943
NO RESERVE!! Here's a very nice WWII M1 Carbine that was manufactured by Rock-Ola in late
1943. This weapon is in excellent condition and has the early features including the original
2-position leaf sight, narrow barrel band, high-wood stock, push-button safety, etc. There are
NO import markings. The original parkerized finish is excellent with only very light handling
wear from use. The bolt and the various small parts have their correct blue finish. There is no
rust or any pitting. The stock is in excellent overall condition with few handling marks but no
cracks, repairs, or rebuild marks and the wood has never been sanded or refinished. The
cartouches are all well struck, correct and guaranteed authentic!! There are no signs of rework
or restoration although a couple of the parts appear to be slightly later than expected. There are
no deep, round stake marks in the rear sight dovetail to show an adjustable rear sight was ever
installed, nor are there any wide band shadows on the stock nose or on the barrel. All
components are all Rock-Ola coded and exhibit consistent (very light) use. The mechanics are in
 good working order and the bore is is in very good shape...bright and sharp with a muzzle
erosion reading of about 2.6. This handsome carbine comes with a very nice correct/original
sling (marked "Lt. Zimmerman"), correct "IR" marked oiler, and an original 1944 dated/U.S.
marked carbine case. There is no magazine included.

Prior to WWII Rock-Ola was in the business of manufacturing juke boxes. Joining the war
effort, they produced approximately 228,500 carbines, or just 3.7% of total carbine production.
Rock-Ola is the second scarcest contractor next to Irwin Pederson. This is a very nice looking
example of a rather hard to find WWII M1 Carbine!

Buyer pays $39.00 shipping. Your C&R License is acceptable for transfer if permitted in your
area. Sorry, no sales to New Jersey or to anywhere this carbine is prohibited by law.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. Bidder to supply a signed
copy of local dealer’s license before shipment will be made. The FFL may be sent by email, FAX, or standard snail-mail. A C&R license is
acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R’s by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old). Please note
that a C&R license is only valid for the person to whom it is issued...we cannot accept your buddy's C&R license for a firearm YOU
purchased.
California Residents: We do ship to California whenever legal to do so. Many older handguns cannot be shipped into California due to
State Restrictions. If the handgun in this auction is not on the current California Roster of Certified Handguns, please do not bid! The
list can be checked here: CALIFORNIA HANDGUN ROSTER. C&R Handguns are exempt from this restriction however California law will NOT
allow shipment of C&R HANDGUNS direct to a C&R holder in the State of California, a licensed 01 dealer must be used. We can ship C&R
LONG GUNS directly to a California C&R holder but only if that C&R holder ALSO has a current California Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through a
dealer. Antique cartridge handguns require an FFL transfer in New York City.

Antique firearms require bidder to supply proof of age. Some areas still require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms
(New Jersey, NYC, etc.)

Large capacity magazine restrictions:

California - 10 rounds maximum for all magazines.

Colorado - 15 rounds maximum for all magazines (does not apply to .22 tubular magazines or to lever action tubular magazines)
Hawaii - 10 round maximum for all handgun magazines.
Maryland - 10 rounds maximum for all magazines (does not apply to .22 tubular magazines)
Massachusetts - 10 rounds maximum for all magazines.
New Jersey - 15 round maximum for all firearms.
New York - 10 rounds maximum for all magazines.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Payment must be received within 14 days of auction close or the item will be relisted. Postal Money Orders and
Cashier's Checks ship fastest; Personal and business checks are gladly accepted but will delay shipping 10 days for clearance (We
know the good ones clear faster, but the bank is sometimes slow in notification of a returned check).
