Text : 1 COR 15:12-18
12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from
the dead, how can some of you say that there is no
resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection
of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14
And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is
useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are
then found to be false witnesses about God, for we
have testified about God that he raised Christ from the
dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not
raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has
not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been
raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are
lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we
are of all people most to be pitied.
INTRO:
Christ can not be compare to Buddha (Gautama Buddha
) 480 BCE – 400 BCE , died at the age of 80, while

Why we need to believed in the Resurrection of Christ

Paul was asking in this verse if there is no resurrection
of the dead Then not even Christ has been raised.

because we allow Christ to be our Master even if we

of FAITH. But when we are talking about resurrection is
such EVIDENCE that can convince us
Paul said

We don’t follow Christ for nothing and this resurrection
about Christ has PROOF if we based it as HISTORICAL
FACTS.
Christ has risen from the dead .

prophet because they promised things that has nothing
to do with what the Lord promise ,
they deny the deity of Christ as the great Saviour. The

IV. Our hope in Christ v.19

19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of

all people most to be pitied.

He is The Hope of our Eternal Life

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It
is by his great mercy that we have been born again,
 because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
 Now we live with great expectation,
 4 and we have a priceless inheritance
