Statement of Purpose/Study Plan

I introduce myself as a former student in Department of Information Technology Hazara University

Mansehra Pakistan. I use this opportunity to elucidate my career objectives and give in the
quintessence of my educational background.

Purpose of Study & Professional Plans:

Believing in the continuous learning process can sharpen my research work and field. Having this
approach in mind add me the idea of further exploration in the subject area and leads me to further
innovation which exists in this field. However, lack of in-depth understanding of the topic simply
leaves the visual abilities rudimentary.The nature of undergraduate courses does not offer scope for
individual expression and rapidly advancing technology necessitates mastery of particular area. It is
in this contest I would like to pursue a course that not only supplements the knowledge that I
possess but also provides a strong foundation for my research-oriented study.

The quest of making computers perceives their environment and interacts with it like intelligent
beings, led me deep into the subject of programming and databases which ultimately became my
core area of specialization. I took advanced courses in database management systems, web
development and advanced programming which greatly enhanced my knowledge of the field.
Having research aptitude and good programming skills, I completed several related projects. I hope
to carry on my zest for the field and pursue a master degree in related areas of Computer science
Technology.

My Educational Background and academic achievements:

Since my school days, I have been interested in Computer science & new Technologies Research. My
scholastic record has been meritorious right through school and higher secondary education. So I
have done a bachelor of science (B.SC) with attaching computer subject in WAPDA DEGREE
COLLEGE Tarbela. After completing my Higher Education with having the first division I got
admission in the Department of Information Technology Hazara University Mansehra Dhodial on
purely merit base. With such dreams and visions that today we stand at the milestone of success.
The wide-ranging alterations in the Engineering globe and Information technology have created the
function of computer system research engineer an essential one. It's been my biggest need to be
part of this speedily growing community. My strong penchant towards programming languages like
C, C++, OOP which was taught in our college and also the versatility of the Computers and my basic
interest in the field of programming motivated me to take Master in Computer Science as a
postgraduate study(16 years). My years as an undergraduate student have influenced me the most.
It had been right here that we recognized the need to place concept into the process and more
importantly to innovate in the encounter of tremendous obstacles. During the course of study, my
encounters with MCS, Software testing methodologies, web designing and development, database
management system and Software Project Management have been extremely enlightening.

As an undergraduate student at Hazara University, I worked with Assistant Professor Hizbullah

Khattak in the Department of Information Technology Hazara University Mansehra, on the Web
based Website to develop the “Video Mailing for Illiterate Users”. We developed this web
application to facilitate the Technology based illiterates, where the user guided through “Audio
Assistant” from “Creating Account” to send Video mail to other. Our objective was to make a video
mail application system that will focus on computing applications for socio-economic development
of underserved communities. User can use only a mouse for that application because there was no

text and no ID to remember except the Picture and PIN code. In addition to my current position, I
am very active in web designing and development and database management system. The joy of
learning these subjects under excellent professors is unsurpassable. My inclination towards
graduate studies gained foot during my second year of under graduation, during which many of the
people told me about the opportunities we have by doing masters and the research programs
offered by the universities.

Why study in University of Amsterdam?

The selection of the right university by the candidate is as important as the selection of the right
candidate by the university. Having to choose University of Amsterdam that is suitable to my
ambition is a major decision, one which can’t be taken in haste. To achieve my objectives, I feel that
the choice of University of Amsterdam is of critical importance. Information from university at the
institution, my seniors and perusal from the University web site, I've deduced that the University
offers exceptional research routines and also the balanced educational plan that is ideal for my
research.I feel that I can realize the aspirations that I have nurtured along. As a part of your family
of students, I have to imbibe the best of what you offer, extend the breadth of knowledge. The world
is constantly changing, and technology in USA has in recent decades developed rapidly. Holland has
made rapid advances in areas such as education, infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, academic
publishing and commercial applications and is now in some areas and by some measures a world
leader. The Germany is the perfect place to study abroad! It is usually described as one of the
Europe jewels due to its beauty, charm and rich history. With my background and interest, I plan to
pursue master studies in a truly professional and innovative environment. I have chosen Holland
for my graduate studies because of the best academic facilities and cultural harmony among
students from different countries. This environment would allow me to adopt a scholarly approach
and utilize my creative abilities so as to materialize my research goals and entrepreneurship plans
exceedingly well.

In conclusion, I hope that I will be given chance to realize my objectives by granting admission in
your esteemed and distinguished University. I am comfortable with my educative specifications and
powerful determination, enthusiasm, optimistic perspective and with your graduate student plan; I
should be able to create a considerable factor towards the study initiatives in the University.
