4. How to check water and sediments in fuel?


a) Water- take the sample, put aquadis capsule, if the colour
changes to pink, water is present.
Sediments- take the sample in a clean jar, if sediments present
it will settle down.

5. IDG-integrated drive generator , why is it called so?


a) IDG is having a constant speed drive inside, which is
maintaining the rpm constant.

6. IDG using oil for?


a) constant speed drive, lubrication, cooling
7. IDG location and its components?
a) Location- in accessory gear box in 7’o clock position
Components- relief valve, oil filter, scavenge filter,
filter adapter, drain plug.

8. How much current is produced by the IdG for a/c?
