Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yoajana Scheme

1. About the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojna

 Government of India has introduced a voluntary and contributory pension scheme for
landholding Small & Marginal Farmers to provide them social security and a healthy and
happy life after they reach their old age.
 Under this scheme, a monthly pension of Rs.3,000/- will be provided to all eligible Small and
Marginal Farmers. Farmers between 18 and 40 years of age are eligible to join the scheme
upon payment of monthly contribution between Rs.55 to Rs.200. After the demise of the
pensioner, 50% of the pension is payable to the surviving spouse, provided he/she is not
already an SMF beneficiary of the scheme.
 If a beneficiary has a given regular contribution and died due to any cause (before age of 60
years), his/her spouse will be entitled to join and continue the scheme subsequently by
payment of regular contribution or exit the scheme as per provisions of exit and withdrawal.

3. Modes of Apply
3.1 Farmers already register under PM-Kisan

 Farmer/VLE will enter aadhar card number. Farmer's detail will be fetched.
 Farmers enrolled in PM-Kisan can give the consent to pay the subscription amount
through the bank account register under PM Kisan (No cash to be given by farmers in
this case)
 Enter Nominee details.
 Print the mandate form.
 Sign and upload the mandate form.
 Download the PM-KMY pension card
 VLE will get his/her commision in CSC wallet.

3.2 Farmers not enrolled in PM-KISSAN (New Registration)

 Enter the details as per aadhar card manually.


 Enter Account and Nominee Details.
 Print the mandate form.
 Sign and upload the mandate form.
 Pay first installment through cash and other through auto debit from given bank
account.
 Download the PM-KMY pension card

4. Eligibility Criteria

 Small and Marginal Farmers(SMF) can apply for the scheme. They should have land less
than 2 hectares.
 Farmers between 18 to 40 years are eligible to join the scheme.

5. How VLE can fetch the farmer's data

 VLE can fetch farmer's data who are enroll in PM-Kisan;


 Go to url https://locator.csccloud.in/PMKisan
 Click on "Login with Digital Seva Connect"
 Login with CSC ID and Password.
 Enter your sub district.
 A list of farmer's data will be shown who are enroll in PM-Kisan and getting 6000/- yearly
benefit. VLEs shall call these farmers to register under PMKMY.

6. CSC VLE Share Amount

1 VLEs who will do transaction Rs 24 per If VLE does 50 transaction, VLE will get
less than 100 transaction an amount of Rs 50 * 24 = Rs. 1200.

2 VLEs who will do transaction Rs 29 per If VLE does 100 transaction, VLE will get
between 100 to 299 transaction an amount of Rs 100 * 29 = Rs. 2900.
3 VLEs who will do transaction Rs 34 per If VLE does 300 transaction, VLE will get
more than 300 transaction an amount of Rs 300 * 34 = Rs. 10,200.

The offer is valid till Prime Minister officially launch the scheme on 25th August 2019(Expected).

7. Exclusion Criteria

The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible for
benefit under the scheme:

 Farmers who have opted for PM-SYM & PM- LVY (Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapari Maandhan
Yojna)
 All Institutional Land holders; and Farmer families in which one or more of its members
belong to following categories:
 Former and present holders of constitutional posts
 Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members
of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State

Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and
present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
 All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries
/Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices
/Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local
Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees)
 All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10, 000/-or more
(Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees)
 All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year.
 Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects
registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices
