5) August 18 - Living Truth everyone is invited to a picnic at
Gibbons Park, hosted by the Living Truth Church. Please meet
at 11:00 AM, potluck lunch is at 12:00 PM. Bring your lawn
chair, and games if have any. Enter from Victoria Street, the
parking lot is on the left, then proceed to Shelter #2.
6) Violence Against Women – End it Now!!
When? Sabbath, August 24th at 11:00 AM and 2 PM
Where? London SDA 805 Shelborne Street, lunch will be
served. Then at 2 p.m. will be an information session and
questions and answers. Following the session will be tea and
dessert. Abuse in any form deforms the body of Christ. Bring

7) August 25: London church team will meet with other
churches in Western district for a soccer tournament at
Edwards Soccer Pitch in Petrolia, (for GPS: 4035 EDWARD ST,
Petrolia, ON). Please see Heather Baptiste or Simone Biggs

8) August 25 - Outreach to the homeless continues!
Volunteers are needed to serve meals to the group. Parking is
available behind the building at 696 Dundas Street Ark Aid
Christian Mission. If you can help, please speak to Teresa
Ferreira.

10) September 9 – Next Church Board Meeting
11) The next Depression Recovery Program begins on September
9th at the Oakridge Presbyterian Church. Dates are September
9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and October 7th, 16th, 21st, 28th from 6:30
to 9:00 PM. Cost is $175 per person. Do you want to learn
how to help someone prone to depression, or do you suffer

12) October 4 – 6, 2019 - Men’s Ministries: This year’s retreat is
entitled “RECALIBRATE” and will be at Camp Frenda. Online
registration will open soon. To register log on to,

by the Ontario Conference).

available in the church foyer for your convenience in giving.
