LEADERSHIP TRAINING MODULE

“Developing the Leader in YOU”

I. Rationale

Leadership springs from within us. It is who we are as much as what we do. Each of us has so much potential and capacity to be a good

leader. This leadership training program lets the participants discover the leaders in themselves and develop the basic leadership skills and

qualities of each of them. Responsibilities and types of leaders will also be discussed during group discussions. Knowing that each has

leadership potential and developing the skills, abilities and responsibilities of a good leader will prepare the participants on situations and

circumstances in life which call for their leadership.

II. Objectives

After this training, the participants will be able to:

1. Develop their leadership potentials;

2. Give the importance of leader-members relationship in the team’s success;

3. Identify the basic skills and abilities of a good leader and how the strategy of a leader affect the entire group or team;

4. Confer the responsibilities of a leader, one of which is protect the welfare of the members; and

5. Gain knowledge about the different types of leaders and leadership styles.
