O R D E R:-
In the reference 1st read above, the General Administration
(V&E) Department have furnished their Vigilance Report on the
allegations of irregularities in modernization of Guntur Branch
Canal in Block No.10 of NSJC Canal (NSJC-GNT-20) taken up by
O&M Division, Sattenapalli, Lingamguntla Circle, Lingamguntla,
Guntur District.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, articles of charges were

issued against Smt. G.Vasanthi, Executive Engineer and Sri V.S.Evans,
Deputy Executive Engineer for the allegations of irregularities in
modernization of Guntur Branch Canal in Block No.10 of NSJC
Canal (NSJC-GNT-20) taken up by O&M Division Sattenapalli,
Lingamguntla Circle, Lingamguntla, Guntur District and in the
references 3rd & 4th read above, the above said charged officers
have submitted their written statements of defence.

3. In the reference 5th read above, the Sri B.Sudhakara Babu,

Chief Engineer (Projects), Ananthapuram was appointed as the
Inquiring Authority to inquire into the charges framed against
Smt. G.Vasanthi, Executive Engineer and Sri V.S.Evans, Deputy
Executive Engineer and furnish inquiry report and in the reference
6th read above, Superintending Engineer, Construction Circle,
Ongole was appointed as Presenting Officer. (p.t.o.)

4. In the reference 7 read above, Sri B.Sudhakara Babu, Chief
Engineer (Projects), Ananthapuram and the Inquiring Authority has
submitted the inquiry report and reporting that the charges
framed against the above charged officers are held not proved.

5. After careful examination of the entire matter, Government

hereby decide and accordingly drop further action against Smt.
G.Vasanthi, Executive Engineer and Sri V.S.Evans, Deputy Executive
Engineer for the allegations of irregularities in modernization of
Guntur Branch Canal in Block No.10 of NSJC Canal(NSJC-GNT-
20), taken up by O&M Division Sattenapalli, Lingamguntla Circle,
Lingamguntla, Guntur District.

6. The Engineer-in-Chief (AW), Water Resources Department,

Vijayawada / Water Resources (Ser.II / Ser.I) Department are
requested to take necessary action accordingly.
