 INTRODUCCION

La seguridad y salud en el trabajo, ha venido tomando cada día más

importancia en el mercado laboral y empresarial colombiano, esta es definida
como una disciplina que trata la prevención de las lesiones y enfermedades
causadas por las condiciones de trabajo, la protección y promoción de la salud
de los trabajadores; además tiene por objeto mejorar las condiciones y el
medio ambiente de trabajo, así como la salud en el mismo, que conlleva la
promoción y el mantenimiento del bienestar físico, mental y social de los
trabajadores en todas las ocupaciones.
 OBJETIVOS

• Ubicar y mantener a los trabajadores según sus aptitudes físicas y

psicológicas, en ocupaciones que pueda desempeñar eficientemente sin
poner en peligro su salud o la de sus compañeros.

• Fortalecer la cultura de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo promoviendo

el compromiso y liderazgo de todos los trabajadores y contratistas.

• Cumplir con la normatividad legal vigente y demás reglamentaciones

aplicables.

• Identificar, evaluar e intervenir en los diferentes factores de riesgos y

peligros significativos para la salud de los trabajadores.

• Vigilar y monitorear el estado de salud de los trabajadores asociado con

factores de riesgos ocupacionales.

• Desarrollar actividades de prevención de enfermedades profesionales y

accidentes de trabajo, con el fin de disminuir el ausentismo laboral.

Evidencia 4: Workshop “Safety signs”

Cada empresa debe estar debidamente adecuada con señales de seguridad,

tanto en inglés como en español, y así cumplir con los requerimientos de
seguridad e información que exige el estado. Por esto, se considera
indispensable tener claridad acerca de las características de estas señales, con
el fin de implementarlas de manera adecuada. Es aquí, donde el material de
formación: "Permission and request in security and health", junto con el material
complementario, cumplen una función relevante durante el proceso de
formación de este programa.

Para la presente actividad de aprendizaje, el aprendiz deberá desarrollar un

taller que dé cuenta de los conocimientos que ha adquirido en el área técnica y
que ha afianzado mediante el material de formación del área de inglés,
anteriormente nombrado. Para realizar esta evidencia, se deberá tener en
cuenta lo siguiente:

1. Estudiar el material de formación: "Permission and request in security

and health" y consultar el material complementario.
2. Desarrollar el taller “Safety signs” en un archivo de word

 4. Dialogue

Teniendo en cuenta el material de aprendizaje “Permission and request in security

and health” y el material complementario “Modals”, proponga un diálogo donde se
presenten varios personajes y se utilicen los verbos modales en inglés, sobre las
advertencias y precauciones que se deben considerar para advertir peligros en la
empresa. El diálogo debe tener mínimo tres personajes y cada uno debe tener por lo
menos tres (3) intervenciones y estar enfocado en el proyecto formativo en el cual
trabaja actualmente.

Fire prevention, fire equipment and its location, the color blue, it means Control
action. It is considered in security only when it is used in circular shape.

RAUL: is also the color Yelow, it means Caution, risk of danger, And the color
Green, it means Security condition.
