Thank you for your interest in applying to be an affiliate of the Faith Alliance Against Slavery and
Trafficking (FAAST). FAAST is a Christian alliance working in collaboration to eradicate human trafficking
and restore survivors. Our vision is to see a world without human trafficking where all human beings are
treasured and protected as unique individuals made in God’s image. As an alliance, FAAST coordinates
the resources and efforts of individual members in order to collectively strengthen their ability to
address the scourge of human trafficking.
While FAAST is an alliance of organizations it is not just organizations that need to be in the fight against
human trafficking. We need individuals, churches, universities and small organizations. We believe that
we can learn from each other and that networking will bring us more opportunities to do that. That is
why we have created the FAAST Affiliate.
The FAAST Affiliate allows organizations and individuals to join us in this fight against trafficking for a
smaller fee. One of the benefits of being an Affiliate is they will have the opportunity to participate in
our First Tuesday learning calls. These calls are a time where we hear from different experts and leaders
about the work they are doing, as well as what they have learned along the way. In the past we have
heard from rom the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, Christian Community Development
Association and A21. In addition to these learning calls, Affiliates will be able to network with FAAST
members and other Affiliates at our annual meetings in January, that provide a time to both network
and learn. Often it can feel like we are in competition with other anti-trafficking groups, but this will
provide a time for relationships to develop with colleagues, with the hope that friendships can develop
with colleagues and other aboloitionists. In addition to expanding our networks this weekend will serve
as a time of learning as hear from a speakers. Finally, FAAST Affiliates will be able to purchase electronic
copies of FAAST curricula for 50% off. This includes Hands that Heal: International Curriculum to Train
Caregivers of Trafficking Survivors. This curriculum is used around the world by secular and faith-based
organizations to inspire their community to fight trafficking and equip aftercare workers. Also included
in this discount is our pdf version of Change Agents, a seven-lesson Bible Study curriculum for pre-teens
with the goal of educating and empowering them while preventing trafficking.
Below is more information on being a FAAST Affiliate, as well as the different opportunities for
becoming a FAAST member. You will also find an application and the dues structure for FAAST.
