Badminton

I. Objectives:
a.know the proper grip and service of the game Badminton
b.execute the proper grip and proper service as they apply to the actual performance
c. exhibit social behavior that respects self and others.

II. Content:
a. Subject Matter: Sprints
b. Reference: Physical Education and Health Book I. Learning Module.
c. Materials: Badminton Racket, shuttlecock and Playing Court
d. Values: Self-Control, Self- Reliant, Self-Discipline, Teamwork

III. Procedure:
a. Motivation/Drill:
Balloon Tapping
Review:
Teacher will ask some questions like:
How to Score the game?

Presentations of Lessons: Showing the pictures of how to Start a Sprints.

A1. Activity: Pre-Lab.


Mechanics:
1. The class will be divide into four group.
2. Each group will practice the kinds of service properly.
3. The other group must catch and then serve back the served shuttlecock.
4. They will have to practice the skills in 20 minute without falling out of the line
On the ground.

A2. Analysis:
What could we benefit in playing badminton?
Why do we need to do the proper grip and service position?

A3. Abstraction:
What are the kinds of grip?
What are the kinds of Service?

A4. Application:
Practicing the Proper Service by Group.

IV. Evaluation:
Checklist of Performance. Individual Performance.

V. Assignment:
Research on the Basic Footsteps in Badminton.
