Role Definition
The position responsible will be required:

MRF, MSS , MGW, HLR )
Key Responsibilities
The position responsible will be required:
1) To ensure configuration on various IMS & Ericsson Core Nodes (MTAS, CSCF, ENUM, DNS, VmWare,
MRF, MSS , MGW, HLR )
2) To ensure MSTOP Processes are followed in the Workplace
3) To ensure Password policies, security policies and audits are properly & periodically followed.
4) To contribute in the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department /
group.
Candidate Prerequisites
Qualifications: [Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering] Total
Experience: 5-8 years in Telecom Industry
Relevant Experience: 5-8 yrs (relevant to GSM & WCDMA network)
Technical and/or functional skills: [Network Nodes/GSM/SS7/SIP]
The primary purpose is to take full responsibility of Configuration activities related to IMS, VoLTE &
CORE Network.
The position responsible will be required:
1. 5+ year experience with Work Exposure and hands on knowledge VOLTE, VoWiFi, ICS, SRVCC, SIP, IMS, SBC,
MRF, DNS, DIAMETER
2. Understanding on Virtualized and CLOUD environment.
3. Good experience in Unix/Linux commands.
4. Configuration knowledge on MTAS, CSCF, MRF, ENUM, DNS, NT-HLR.
6. Good knowledge of REGSITRATION, V2V call flows, Call hold, Call forwarding & Conference etc
7. To work well within predefined system support guidelines and ground rules.
8. To participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make
recommendations wherever possible.
9. To ensure correct working methodology, Best Practices and Continuous improvements in Ways of Working
for efficiency improvements and betterment in deliveries.
10. Execute system configuration related changes as per given access rights.
11. To ensure MSTOP Processes are followed in the Workplace
12. To ensure Password policies and other security policies are properly followed
Leadership skills:
Language skills: languages other than English and local/ Indian
Values and behaviors: Pro-active and able to work under pressure
Qualifications:
B.E / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communications with at least 5-8 years of Experience in IMS, VoLTE & CORE
Domain.
Experience in handling Nokia Networks Preferred.
Ericsson and Huawei Core Node handling will be additional advantage.
Technical and/or functional skills: [Performance & Characteristics of MSC/HLR Network Nodes]
Authority
The SRF Sr. Engineer reports to CA Manager.
Activities
The SRF Specialist/Sr. Engineer/Engineer is responsible for specific systems by performing the following
activities:
Administrating IMS Network & their support element.
Configuration Changes on IMS & Core Nodes.
Number Normalization.
FQDN, SIP & Diameter Connectivity.
POI /Signaling Creation/Shifting, Augmentation, De augmentation etc in MSS and MGW
BSC/RNC Migration, New Node Integration , SDP Migration.
Configuration related to HLR/HSS Nodes
Coordination with Planning/ Customer/Back office /Project etc
Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments
Excellent knowledge of call control, signaling, digit analysis.

Functional Skills
The following work position / area/ specific functional skills are typically applicable to the Sr. Engineer-SRF
CORE functional role.
Good Technical Knowledge of the specific IMS, VoLTE & CORE nodes viz. MTAS/CSCF/MRF/DNS/ENUM/NT-
HLR/MSC/MGW/HLR for Mobile Communication
Understanding of all Processes, routines activities and stakeholder management.
Technical Competence:
Specialist Expertise on GSM Protocols (i.e. SIP, Diameter, LDAP, SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP,
MAP, SCCP)
Strong Telecom fundamentals and understanding of Mobile Core networks (CS/PS);
Excellent knowledge of call control, signaling, digit analysis;
Strong Technical competence on Nokia Rel4 CS Core network elements: NOKIA CFX5000, Open TAS, DX200,
ATCA, NT HLR, One-NDS HLR, MGW IPA2800 and ATCA MGW UI5, UI6.
Hands on Ericsson CSCF, MTAS, SBC, DNS, ENUM, MRF, AXE 810, APZ 212 40, APZ 212 50, APZ 212 60, APZ 214
01/03, APG 40 C/2, APG 40 C/4, APG 43.Ericsson MGW , HLR and HSS Nodes
Hands on experience on Huawei MSOFTX 3000, UMG8900, NE40E, ATCA, CSC3300, HSS9820, MRP6600,
UGC3200.
• GSM, WCDMA with MNP call flows.
• Network Architecture and its subparts.

PDU Cloud is responsible for the development of Cloud Products and Solutions. NFVI is the current Cloud
Solution, which is based on the PDU cloud products CEE, CCD, HDS & SDN together with EO, that provides
an NFV Infrastructure for our Ericsson and 3PP VNFs/Applications. The solutions are rapidly evolving
towards Distributed Cloud and containerization to support the 5G Service based architecture.

JOB SUMMARY
The Support organization in Montreal is looking for skilled professionals that are interested in working with Tier2
global customer support for the Cloud product area.
We need people that are service minded with good technical skills as well as soft skills in order to be able to
cooperate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders. Candidates need to be accountable, self-driven and always keep
the customer’s interest in mind.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle and drive CSR (Customer Service Requests) resolution from global customers.
Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting in real customer networks and labs.
Take part in on-site installation, configuration and testing activities.
Participate in emergency support handling.
Verify emergency corrections in lab before they are released to customer.
Participate in early product deployment projects such as FOA.
Dialog frequently with our interfaces in the region, PDU and product line.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Science / bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Telecommunication,
Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.
Experience and competence working with the Cloud solution (specifically CEE, HDS).
Proven customer support experience.
Availability for on-call schedule.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Excellent oral and written English skills.
Knowledge of CSR and TR handling processes.

Key Qualifications:
Education: Engineering
Minimum years of experience: 7+ Years of relevant experience
Experience from technical job roles is required, e.g. experience from work as an Integration
Engineer or Software Developer
Analytical and Problem-solving skillset
Customer facing experience and able to interact with senior leaders
Walk extra mile to solve customer requirements
Cloud and OSS Orchestration Domain Experience is a must
