Sub: Fall 2019-20 Semester – Course Registration – reg.

The Fall 2019-20 semester course registration will be carried out on 27th and 28th June 2019
for all senior students of the programmes of University as per the schedule displayed in your FFCS
Student log-in under Fall Sem 2019-20 Registration link. Those who miss their course
registration can register courses only during the Add/Drop period, scheduled between 10th
and 12th July 2019.
The MOCK registration schedule for the students of various programmes will be made available
in Student Login page of FFCS on 21st June 2019 after 6 PM. The schedule will be based on the
following criterion, CGPA of 9.0 and above, the day scholars who make use of the university
transport facility (i.e. Paid transport fee for AY 2019-20) with more than 85% attendance as on
10th April 2019, and the hostel students who have got 100% attendance in all courses of the
previous semester, followed by others. After the payment of transport fee by Day Scholar students
on or before 25-06-2019, the revised registration schedules for Fall 2019-20 Semester will be
updated on 26-06-2019 in FFCS Student Log-In.

The minimum and maximum number of credits the student can register will be 16 and 27,
respectively. Students are permitted to ‘Delete’ a waitlisted course on their own during
registration. Classes having low strength will be removed after the closing of registration
(dynamically indicated to students as ‘Subject to offering’ in RED during their registration and
subsequently). Schools will not be permitted to re-open those courses again during Add/Drop
period. Students should check their registration status during Add/Drop. Since Add/Drop is
optional for students, students may move to another course during Add/Drop and no
WAITLISTING option is available during ADD/DROP period. No new courses will be scheduled
in the ‘Add’ or ‘Drop’ period.
Add/Drop will be closed at the midnight of 12th July 2019 (Friday) and beyond that period,
students will not be permitted to register/add/drop for courses. For students who have not
registered any course upto the Add/Drop period, the Fall 2019-20 Semester will be considered
as 'Discontinuation of Programme' and their studentship is liable to be cancelled. Last date for
payment for Re-registering a component of a course / complete course (@ Rs. 6000 per course)
will be 4:00 PM of 17th July 2019 (Wednesday). Re-registered/ Grade Improvement / Course

Substitution/ Additional courses that are not paid will be removed on 18 July 2019 (Thursday).
Online payment facility will be made available.
Though students can register (confirmed registrations) for a maximum of 27 credits, they are
permitted to add a maximum of two courses under waiting list (independent of credits) during
the course registration period. Maximum of 60 students will be retained under waiting list in
each theory/lab class. If a student has a confirmed registration, wait listing for the same course
under different slot/faculty is not permitted. When a vacancy arises, wait listed courses will be
automatically confirmed subject to other course registration conditions. At that time of
confirmation, if the existing rules do not permit confirmation of course registration, the entry
will be removed from the waiting list.
All students are advised to change their FFCS password before registration, to protect their
registrations from hacking. They should use a strong password for their login and should not
share their password with their friends. University will not take any responsibility if their
course registrations are altered/ deleted by others.
Students are strongly advised to read the Instructions Page carefully before they proceed to
register for Fall semester courses.
