Core Features

Global Real-Time Aircraft Tracking

With the reliability and coverage of the Iridium satellite network, your
aircraft will always be connected — no matter where they are in the world.

Unlimited Platform Access

The platform allows you unlimited viewing of past tracks and the ability
to view tracks from all your aircraft on one screen.

Flight Distress Detection

If an incident occurs and the Spider loses power, Automated Watch will
automatically send an SOS message after 12 minutes of no communication.

Manual SOS Alerting

The SOS button on the keypad can be used in an emergency to send instant
alert messages to your preset emergency contacts.

Spidertracks’ Emergency Management Framework (EMF)

The EMF can automatically detect an SOS state and alert your support
people without your pilots or dispatchers involvement.

Spidertracks AFF/API
Spidertracks is AFF compliant which allows you to send tracking data to
third parties in real-time.

One-Way Preset Messages

Easily send pre-set email or SMS messages manually from the cockpit with
the Mark button.

Altitude Event Alerts

Know when something isn’t right. Your Spider automatically monitors
rate of climb and descent and can immediately alert you if your limits are
exceeded.

Pooled & Rollover Hours

The first tracking provider to allow hours to be pooled and rolled over
over between different aircraft in your fleet with our ATaaS 2.0 plans.

Notifications
Know more about what’s going on with your aircraft. Set custom alerts
and notifications when each event is triggered.

Radius
Radius suspends position reports in a defined circular area around your
current location. Normal tracking will resume once you leave that area.
The radius distance can be customised online.

External Antenna Input

Have an aircraft with a heated windshield? With the Spider 7 and 8 you
can plug into an external GPS/Iridium antenna.

External Keypad
With the new external keypad, you can mount the Spider 8 discreetly out
of the way but still have access to the Spider’s main buttons.

Universal Aircraft Interface

The UAI enables operators to detect and transmit various discrete inputs
and outputs through the Spider and the Spidertracks platform.

Automated Watch Mode
Your Spider can be operated in one of
two modes: Normal or Watch.
Automated Watch Mode, our
patented active tracking option that
automatically generates an alert should
a disconnection from the satellite
network occur, can be activated either
manually or autonomously.
By default, Watch mode sends your
aircraft’s position reports to the
Spidertracks system at two-minute
intervals — but you can reduce this to
one minute if you’d like. In the absence
of receipt of a Watch-OFF message,
Automated Watch will raise an alert
to your tier-one contacts if there’s no
communication between the Spider
and the Spidertracks system for 15
minutes.
Normal mode offers basic tracking
and location information but lacks the
automated safety alert capability of
Automated Watch Mode.

What They’re Saying About Us

“We have transitioned our nationwide fleet to Spidertracks and are realizing
improved flight following reliability and greater functionality with Spidertracks.”

Greg Reeves, Barr Air Patrol, USA

“As part of our commitment to quality and safety, CTC has been using Spidertracks
since 2010. As the aircraft are often away on long navigation exercises over rugged
terrain, with trainee pilots on board, it is essential that we keep track of them and
know of any potential problems. Spidertracks enables us to do this easily and
efficiently.”

Ian Hector, CTC Aviation Training Ltd, New Zealand

“We are delighted with Spidertxt. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use
Spidertxt and how well it worked.”

Jeff Daniels, Motta International, Panama

“Spidertracks gives us the ability to easily communicate with our aircraft anywhere
in the world, whilst adding a level of flight following detail we’ve never had before.”

Ferndando Pardo, Aerolineas Ejecutivas, Mexico

“Tanalian Aviation uses Spidertracks on our entire fleet of helicopters and we

couldn’t be more pleased with the service and quality of the product. In Alaska,
where many other GPS tracking systems are prone to failure, we have never had a
Spidertracks unit fail to track.

As the Aviation Safety Manager for Tanalian, I rely on Spidertracks to provide real
time data 24/7 and it always delivers.”
