Woman status of islam

first we're very glad because tonight we can

meet in this place safe and sound. We can't be
here if our God Allah doesn't give as His mercy
and blessing. Blessing and salutation be upon
the most honorable prophet muhammad SAW
and his family all his disciples, and those who
follow them in goodness till the day of
judgment.
in this opportunity let me bring my speech
titled "the status of Muslim women"
let's have a closer look to the condition of
women in the society after the spread of
emancipation. Nowadays, we see that both
boys and girls can go to school. Of course, it's a
good thing, isn't ? The girls can get their
 education from Elementary School until
University. After finishing their education, they
choose their career or jobs according to their
education and wish. Some of them become
professionals as doctors, lawyers, lecturers and
so on.
But, we feel surprised to see that the women
are so free to do anything they want, even
tough it's against the teaching of religion. What
do you think, dear audience, when we see the
women who become models, actresses, singers
or dancers who are almost naked when they
appear before other people? Do you think it is
a kind of emancipation that Kartini wanted ? I
may say that Kartini would feel embarrassed if
she saw this bad phenomenon.
If we see this matter within the Islamic
perspective, we can conclude that the
emancipation talking place today has gone
wild. Those women are not aware that they
become the objects of wealth exploitation by
showing their beautiful bodies and charming
faces.
Our religion Islam has raised the status of
women into the high level. Islam orders men
and women to look for knowledge and science.
Islam suggests men as well as women to be
professionals, to be experts and to choose
their career as long as they are not against the
Islamic teaching.
If our religion Islam limits the women's
profession, it's merely to ensure the honor,
dignity and nature of the women. We can't
deny the fact that there are differences
physically and mentally between men and
women.
After marriage a man becomes husband and a
women becomes wife. They should help one
another to form a happy and prosperous
 family. The husband as the head of family is
responsible for the maintenance of wife and
the wife has to respect and obey him because
he is the head of the family. That's how Islam
manages the life interaction between men and
women.
this is the end of my speech. We hope that the
good Muslim women would not be deceived by
the emancipation. Thanks for your attention.if

me because the real truth of it belongs to Allah
