COMPANY PROFILE

Ngoto Enterprise was registered in 2001 with a sole purpose to provide sanitation
(Cleaning) Services and products.

Since its inception, we have an on going contractual works with Illovo Sugar (Malawi)
Ltd both at Dwangwa and Nchalo Sugar Estates.

The contract involves cleaning of Ablution facilities and the surrounding areas of the
Factory Nchalo Mill.

We are also supplying of portable toilets, namely; Amalooloo and Blulet System toilets
which we install and service especially in the residential areas and pump stations
surrounding sugarcane fields.

Ngoto Enterprise is also registered with National construction of Industry council (NCIC)
in the building construction industry in Malawi.

Mr Charles Kumwenda (MD) realized that the lack of affordable and safe housing is a
challenge, especially in the urban areas of our towns and cities of Malawi.

In order our company to contribute to meet the demand of infrastructure in housing,

the MD had to research and study different methods of making bricks environmentally
friendly, sustainable and cost effective.

The MD discovered that the Hydraform Technology was the best, hence he sponsored
himself to go and train in South Africa, at Hydraform S.A. (PTY) Ltd.

After the training, own company has invested and purchased a Hydraform M7M1
mobile interlocking block making machine a cost of 25,000 U.S Dollars.

The following are advantages of using the M7M1 interlocking block making machine:-
Hydraform soil cement blocks labour 75% sand soil, 15% clay soil and 8-10% cement).
The blocks are environmentally friends because of need to cut down trees for burning
bricks in the covering process.

The maximum strength of the blocks are between 7-8Mpa by far as compared to fire
clay bricks and cement hollow blocks.

No need for plastering interior or exterior walls due to the aesthetic apple finish of
blocks.

Mobile machine M7M1 enable the production of blocks on labour on loading & off
loading of blocks and breakages and Transporting.

Fast, simple and easy to build since no need of cement mortar

Self– Insulated blocks (3 Times better than cement blocks and twine a good as clay
bricks)

Sound proof because they are not hollow cement blocks

Lower water absorption (12% versus 20% for red clay bricks

Wind proof up to 140km/hour

Local communication can benefit from building with the Hydraform machine range as
unskilled men and women can become active participants in the building process.
