It has been mentioned often in quran with the ordainment of salah so zakaat is a mean of purification
for the resources of living. Zakaay helps to purify the wealth and provisions; then the people using
those resources with 'barakah' imparted by Allah SWT also get 'propitiation' in return in this world and
hereafter.

The economic system of an islmic society should ensure balance of three critical factors: halal source of
income, assuring equal distribution of wealth and establishing such a secure economic safety that
destitude and deprived ones access the basic needs of life as health, treatment, food, education and
shelter.

committes have allocated ratios for different sectors of basic needs to be issued respective amount from
