DESCRIPTION:

Kotak Mahindra Bank is a privately owned Indian multinational bank with retail, wholesale,
and private banking platforms in 2015 purchase of an equity stake in Vysya Bank by the Dutch
.There are 100+ applications are running to provide the support. FES, foreign exchange service
is an application which processes all international transaction, money transfer, forex card
coming to bank through customer. FES is heart of bank’s treasury. It is the prime
application that is responsible for processing &pricing the transaction, billing and invoicing
and doing the revenue recognition. FES also sends feeds to several other systems such as
swift, Profile(core banking system), and GL etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Provided Front-end as well as back-end support to applications.

 Monitoring production server, troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
 Escalating engineering issues to Development Team and following with them.
 Preparing Quality documents for different processes.
 Working on different web server like Jboss, Apache-Tomact, IIS
 Involving for getting the approval of the CR and implementing the CR in the PROD
box.
 Involving in the DR activities.
 Monitoring server/disk space in UNIX and ORACLE

 Daily Housekeeping of application Servers.

 Replicating functionality issue in UAT and provide the RCA for the issue.
 Involving in CR deployment.
 Taking care of purging activity throughout system.
 Regularly attend & resolve the issues those are faced by client during production
coming through emails or alarms

application outage, Issue impacting multiple users, Revenue impacting key function
issues in the Crisis call.
 Working on batch failure issue.
 Involved in application health check.
 Involved in weekly meeting with business and respective stakeholders
 Prepared capacity planning document for app server and Db server.
 Responsible to do PVT during the change.
 Monitoring the production server and manage control file and data file.
 Providing work around in the form of data fix .Data fixing involves writing PL/SQL
scripts & SQL, which would cater the needs of business
