Remote Control Unit

The Sony SVT-RM10 Remote Control Unit can be used with all Sony
SVT Time Lapse VTRs and offers a wide range of functions.
Features
Basic keys: STOP, PLAY, PAUSE, FF, REW, REV PLAY∗1 and RECORD
Additional keys: REC/PLAY SPEED (up, down), MENU and SHIFT (right, down)

Additional LED indicator features for VTRs

(SVT-DL224/124/124P/LC300 VTRs)
An additional LED indicator (the red light to the left of
the REC button) on the SVT-RM10 Remote Control
Unit is available for Sony SVT-DL224/124/124P/
LC300 VTRs.

Note: While the SVT-RM10 Remote Control Unit can

be used with all SVT Series VTRs, the LED
indicator does not function with the following
VTRs 420mm (16 5/8 inches) in width:
SVT-L200/L400/S3100/5050/3050/150 and Basic key
SVT-5050P/S3050P/1000P/100P.
LED indicator

This LED indicator gives the user important

information that is usually only displayed in the VTR
LED display window. The LED indicator on the SVT-
RM10 shows the following:

1. Recording Additional keys

It indicates to the user that the VTR is recording.
2. Recording Pause
During a pause in recording, the indicator slowly
flashes on and off, at one second intervals. Unit: mm
3. Recording Problem Warning
If problems occur during recording, the indicator
quickly flashes on and off, at 0.25 second
intervals. Basic keys
4. Tape End Warning
The user knows that the tape has ended when the
indicator flashes in a continuous sequence of one
long flash followed by two short flashes.

Reverse Playback and Reverse Field Playback (SVT-
S3100/5050/ 3050/L200/L400/ 5050P/1000P)
Reverse Playback only (SVT-150/S3050P)
Note: Reverse Playback works only in 2H mode (NTSC) and 3H
mode (PAL)
∗2 VTRs 240mm in width do not have Reverse Playback function
