Captive portal
Tanaza features a captive portal, a web page the user sees
before accessing a public WiFi network. It is also known as
splash page, login page, splash portal and landing page.

Through this web page, users can authenticate themselves

and register to the WiFi network using their personal
credentials.

The captive portal can be used as a marketing tool to

collect data and segment users so that businesses that
provide WiFi to their clients can collect useful data and
segment it for their marketing campaigns.

It can also be used to communicate information, insert

audio-video advertisement and other similar content that
will be seen by users during the authentication process.
Splash page editor
The editor allows you to drag and drop ready-made
elements to your splash page, add a new login method in a
matter of seconds, personalize your splash page, and make
it multi-lingual.

Elements are for example text, redirection link, login button,

picture, logo, background, custom HTML etc.

This editor also allows you to set terms and conditions so

that you can make your WiFi network fully compliant with
the currently applicable laws.

You can see a preview of how your responsive captive

portal will appear to users, and also simulate the whole
authentication process.
Enable social
authentication
The Facebook application developed by Tanaza allows
users to connect to a WiFi network using Facebook Login
as well as Facebook Check-in .

Thanks to “progressive engagement”, users are

encouraged to “check-in” to connect and are then
redirected to the Business’ Facebook Page.

On the Facebook Page, they are 100% free to interact with

the brand – by reading the Facebook Page timeline, sharing
stories, and giving a Like to the Facebook Page.

Tanaza allows also social login through Instagram, Twitter,

Linkedin, Google+, Vkontakte and so on.
Collect WiFi user data
Among the authentication methods, Tanaza enables WiFi
network administrators to collect email addresses and
verified phone number from their WiFi users.

By collection email addresses, WiFi professionals can run

marketing campaigns thanks to the integrated tool,
Mailchimp.

In order to collect the most verified data as possible,

Tanaza developed the phone number verification that can
be added to many login modes like the custom form, the
social login etc.

If you want more information about WiFi marketing and

how to use the data collected, visit our page about
marketing agencies, or download our Marketing Ebook.
Analytics dashboard
The dashboard’s user-friendly interface makes WiFi
analytics very easy.

The dashboard includes general statistics and trends, top

users, authentication methods, geographic location of
users, gender and age, and the number of returning versus
new users.

It also highlights who are your most engaged users and

how many Facebook Likes/Check-in a location has
received from WiFi users.

In addition to that, the dashboard serves as a database for

all clients and their connections, showing detailed
information per client and allowing export to CSV or XLSX.
Leverage data for
marketing purposes
You can leverage new contacts and new generated data in
3 ways:

1) For email marketing, using Tanaza’s Mailchimp

connector, which sends opted-in email addresses directly
to your Mailchimp account;

2) To measure your social WiFi results and run high-ROI

marketing and sales campaigns by exporting them to any
third party marketing platform or CRM, in csv format;

3) To set up your own integration with any third party

system using Tanaza’s “Push notifications” APIs.
