2.1.3. What is Oracle offering?

Oracle as part of its offer in a BI solution beyond business intelligence, provides
an added value of greater importance. Oracle provides to its clients the power of
information. This information is represented in the intersection can be seen in
the diagram of Venn, figure N ° 1:

2.2.What is Cloud Computing?

Marc Benioff (2017) "cloud provides service to businesses of all sizes... the cloud is for
everyone. The cloud is a democracy"
It is a technology that allows remote access to software, file storage and processing of
data through the Internet, as an alternative to running on a personal computer or local
server. In the cloud model, there is no need to install applications locally on computers.
Cloud computing offers individuals and businesses the ability to a pool of resources of
computing with good maintenance, safe, easy access and on-demand.

2.2.1. How does Cloud Computing?

The technological advances of the last decades have made to evolve the business
world by leaps. Cloud computing has contributed significantly to this by
providing the ability to manage data remotely. It is a technology and business
service that allows that the user can access a wide variety of features, software,
and applications to manage your data or your company more efficiently, storing
your information on remote servers instead of do it on a local computer. What
with respect to the business level, cloud services computing allows hire packages
as they can go to expand at the same time growing the business. This avoids
unnecessary costs in equipment and software and, therefore, one of its main
advantages is that it reduces the costs of the company.

2.3.Cloud computing y business intelligence

The joint work of enterprise applications (ERPs, CRMs, SCMs...) with productivity
tools (Office Automation, communications and collaboration...) and business
intelligence technology in the cloud, driven solutions helps to better serve to the
customers, gain agility in work and understanding of the performance of different areas
of the business (financial management, marketing and sales, production, service) to the
customer, etc.. Today, more than ever, is crucial to having agility in the handling of the
data in order to evaluate and make decisions reliably. Thus D. José Antonio Lorenzo,
General Manager of IDC explains it. Tecnologías ayudan:
Infrastructure solutions. At this point is Azure, the Microsoft cloud. Azure is
a collection of integrated services in the cloud (analysis, processes, databases,
networks, storage, web ...) that allows developers to work more productively.
Collaboration and productivity solutions. Office 365 is the answer. Through
different applications and plans (set of applications) it is possible to work from
Windows, Android and iOS devices with the latest version of Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote ..., work collaboratively (thanks to shared storage
and co-authoring capabilities and versioning)
Business management solutions. Microsoft Dynamics is the answer to the ERP
and CRM systems. With these solutions, financial operations, supply chain and
customer relations are managed.

3. CONCLUSION

Used to say that information is power. But now power is to understand it. Why any company
nowadays should seriously consider the use of data analysis tools to extract all the knowledge
possible of your organization. Only in this way can remain competitive in the market, likewise
making use of emerging technologies.
