S.NO WASTE POWDER FORM / ASH FORM
The outer and inner surface of the coconut shell
collected locally was scrubbed and
washed thoroughly to remove the impurities. The
coconut shell was then dried in sunlight for
3 days to remove the moisture content. The dried
coconut shell was crushed into small pieces,
placed in a crucible and burnt in a furnace at a
controlled temperature of 400oC for about 2
hours. The burnt particles were then subjected to heat
1 COCONUT SHELL treatment at a temperature of 800oC for
about 12 hours to remove the carbonaceous material
present in it.

Powder form:- Paddy straw powder can be obtained by

using a grinding machine.
Sepration process:- It is a two step process; first
one is the pre treatment or acid washing of the paddy
straw powder; second is the sepration of nano silica and
lignin from paddy straw. FOR MORE
