ABSTRACT:
The wind farm siting is the primary work in the construction of wind- electric power plant. It
includes macro siting and micro siting. Choosing the type of wind turbine and its exact position are
very important parts of the planning work of a wind park. This process is called micro siting. Micro
siting is the main work at the stage of design. At this stage the site of every unit will be fixed
according to the distribution map of wind energy resources and correlative restrictive conditions so
that the demand of the client and the relevant departments can be satisfied and the better economic
and social benefit of the wind farm can be gained. In this paper an overview about micro siting of
wind farms is discussed.
Keywords: wind farm siting, micro siting

ABSTRACT:
The transformer is a device which is used to higher or lower voltages and currents in an
electrical circuit. In recent electrical power distribution systems, transformers are used to boost
voltage levels so as to decrease line losses during transmission. For insulation and cooling of power
transformers, various oils are used. Mineral oils have wide availability and low cost. However, they
have a poor biodegradability potential and lower fire point in comparison with other insulating
liquids. Use of an oil having high biodegradability is important due to environmental consideration
.Antioxidants are components which impede auto-oxidation of oils and fats by giving their hydrogen
to free radicals formed in the initiation and propagation stages of anti oxidation. Antioxidants (BHA,
BHT) are added to vegetable oils for improving their insulation feature and to reduce its ageing for
better performance.
