Abstract
[I] One paragraph for topic introduction
Every System of Knowledge, however vast and profound it may be, is based on some basic -
Fundamental Principles, which may be inter-woven together to form a Single (or a Few)
Model(s) or Theory(ies).
For example, all of the extensively evidenced Knowledge of Modern Science and its
Fundamental Principles - can be assimilated into three broad Models or Theories: -
Unfortunately, Modern Science has Not been able to mutually Integrate all these three
Models or Theories to form a Grand Unified - “Theory of Everything”!
Now, the whole Vedic System of Knowledge & Science too must be based on some basic -
Fundamental Principles, which could be inter-woven together to form the: -
This Paper is an exercise to comprehensively present this Model, and to show that there is
an intrinsic ‘Harmony’ between all these Three topics – LIFE; PARTICLES & FORCES; and
CELESTIAL BODIES & COSMOS.
Now, to understand the Vedic Model, we need to first Understand the “Vedic Trinity”.
[II] few paragraphs for topic explanation
Vedic Trinity
A comprehensive study of the Vedic Samhitas; along with the Brahmanas, Upanishads &
Aranyakas; and the Smritis; Upa-vedas, Shad Darshanas (Six Schools of Vedic Philosophy);
and the Shad Vedangas (Six primary Arts & Sciences), would revel that there is an
overarching reference and adherence to different “Trinities”, such as: -
These above-mentioned are just few of the well-known Trinities. The comparatively lesser-
known, yet extensively found Trinities are: -
…….. These are again just a few. The list of Trinities is elaborate and exhaustive.
At first glance, most of these multiple Trinities, appear to be – totally independent of each-
other; with Not much apparent relation with the other Trinities. However, a thorough and
diligent scrutiny of the Vedic Lore would establish the underlying elementary principle that
– All these Triplets, as a matter of fact – are ‘inherently’, ‘categorically’ and ‘respectively’ –
related to each other in a highly intricate, organised and systematic manner. Thereby, all
these Triads together form the basis of a Single – Unified VEDIC TRINITY – i.e. विर्ृत ् or विर्र्व
– which, in the Vedic Lore is potently represented by the Three - Maha-Vyahritis: -
A systematic and comprehensive study of the Vedic scriptures would reveal that the whole
Vedic outlook of the Universe is fundamentally based on this – VEDIC TRINITY. This Trinity is
so overwhelming, overarching, and all-pervasive; that, in the Vedic outlook, it may be
considered as the –
It is the Master-Key to open the hidden Secrets of the Vedas; be it Vedic - Science,
Spirituality, Philosophy, Rituals, Personal Lifestyle, Society & Civilization, Healthcare & Well-
being, Academics, Arts, Political Science, Management, Economics, etc.
This Paper presents a comprehensive understanding of the Three - Maha-Vyahritis; and its
intrinsic association with the various forms of the Vedic Trinity: ranging from the Three
Lokas (Worlds) and the Devatas (Deities) to the Three Lines of Gayatri Mantra and the Three
Syllables of Omkara.
Furthermore, these Three - Maha-Vyahritis - (1) Bhu, (2) Bhuvah & (3) Swah - have been
further expounded in the form of the Seven - Vyahritis:
(1) Bhu, (2) Bhuvah, (3) Swah, (4) Mahah, (5) Janah, (6) Tapah, & (7) Satyam.
The Spiritual & Scientific meaning of these Seven Vyahritis have also been elucidated here.
Ultimately, the objective is to illustrate – How the knowledge of the Vedic Trinity & the
Seven Vyahritis – can guide us towards the essence & goal of Life; and show us how to live a
sustainable and harmonious lifestyle, by which we can evolve from Animalism to
Humanism; and further from Humanism to Divinity.

END NOTES:
i
While, the Vedas in the form of Compilations or Texts are definitely - Four in number, viz.: Rig, Yajur, Sama
& Atharva. However, in the form of the major subjects or Knowledge Systems, they are categorised in
Three numbers, i.e. Veda-Trayee or Trayee-Vidya, viz.: Rig, Yajur & Sama.
ii
The Fourth ‘Tureeya’ is Not a state of Mind; But, is ‘Beyond’ or ‘Transcendence of’ - Mind.
iii
The Fourth Ritvik Brahma is Not an Active Priest in a Yajna, like the other three Priests. He is the Passive
Priest and mostly a silent Observer and Overseer. He represents all the Four Vedas, and particularly, the
Atharva Veda.
