I. Introduction
On the year 1998, social network was used. Social networking is the creation and
maintenance of personal and business relationships especially online.

A form of social networking is social media. Social media is a form of electronic

communication (as Web sites for social networking and micro-blogging) through which users
create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (as
videos). A way of interaction among people in which they create, share, and/or exchange
information and ideas in virtual communities and networks. It's first use was in 2004.

A type of social media is Facebook. Facebook is a social media website first developed by
Mark Zuckerberg while he was a student at Harvard in 2004. Since its creation, it has become one
of the most popular social media sites attracting people of all ages from all over the world.

Another popular social media website is Twitter. On the 26th day of March 2006, Twitter
created by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams and launched in July,
whereby the service rapidly gained worldwide popularity. It is an online news and social
networking service where users post and interact with messages, "tweets," restricted to 140
characters. Registered users can post tweets, but those who are unregistered can only read them.

Social networks provide students to do whatever they want --- to upload what they want and
talk to whom they want. The students have become prone to frequent change of mood and self-
control.

The goal of the researchers of this research paper is to educate the readers as to how the social
media can cause possible harm and to advise them to pay careful in using social networking or
social media.
