Scope of Work:

- Supply of PT detailed shop drawings and design calculations to

the Consultant for approval as necessary for the execution of the
post-tensioned slabs .

- Supply of Post-Tension materials delivered to site including

customs and other duties .

• Pre-stressing 7-wires strands 15.7 mm, 15.2 mm or 0.6’’ diameter.

According to BS, EN or ASTM, all acquired from the highly renowned
strand specialists 'Maadaniyah' based in Saudi Arabia.
• Bright steel ducts and relevant duct couplers
• Complete sets of live anchorages from the OVM Company.
• Pre-stressing accessories including vent pipes, polystyrene
pocket formers and heavy duty tape for fixing the ducts .
• Additives necessary for the ducts grouting.

- Provide qualified personnel and superintendants to perform

the following works:

• Installation and fixing of ducts to chairs to be supplied cut

and bent.
• Threading of strands into ducts
• Anchorages setting and fixing to formwork
• Stressing of tendons and cutting tendon tails
• Grouting of tendons
* Mobilization and demobilization

"THE CLIENT’S" / Main – Contractor's obligations

The responsibilities of THE CLIENT/Main Contractor are detailed as follows :

Provide THE POST- TENSIONING CONTRACTOR with comprehensive and

accurate technical information and documents as necessary for the design
of post-tensioning elements (on electronic format) and take responsibility of
their accuracy.
• Insure convenient access to the site for THE POST- TENSIONING
CONTRACTOR’ material, equipment and staff.

• Provide suitable electrical power, water to the points of use.

• Provide necessary scaffolding, platform, support structure,

timber and planks for performing all pre-stressing works
mainly the stressing and grouting of tendons .

• Supply, installation and removal of all block outs,

recesses or special formwork if required in the vicinity of anchorages.

• Supply and placing of all reinforcing steel including bursting

reinforcement and all other end block reinforcement as well as steel
chairs for fixing the ducts.

• Supply, placing, vibrating and finishing of concrete including filling or

dry packing of block outs recesses.

• Supply of fresh Portland cement in bags for grouting

• Cutting and cleaning grout vents after grout setting

Payment terms

40% Of the Total value Advance Payment upon signing the Contract
40% Upon ordering of Materials .
20% Upon Completion of stressing and Grouting .

Note: (100% of The Value for Slab will be paid upon completing
Grouting) No Retention is considered .

Price Based on JOD/ U$D Exchange Rate as per CBJ rate of

Any change in price, or Rate will be adjusted accordingly
