Activity When the students enter the classroom, they will have a seat in
front of the SMART board. Before we begin, we will have a class
discussion on the effects of bullying, ways to prevent bullying, and
ways to create a safer school environment. The students will then
use the SMART board to write their guess for each bullying
statement before reading the USA Today article. We will then
review as a class how much bullying can affect each and every
individual and programs that the school can create to decrease the
amount of bullying within the school. After that, the students will
read the USA Today article to find out the actual percentages to fill
in the chart.
