● Torque Unit (Fixed as Nm)

Torque unit can be changed only when parameter 1 is selected.
Torque unit is the same for all fastening parameters inside the AXIS Unit.

● Fastening Direction
Normal: Fastening direction is clockwise.
(When using a right-hand screw, the loosening direction is counter clockwise.)
Reverse: Fastening direction is counter clockwise.
(This is for special fastening tools such as left-hand screws. The loosening direction is clockwise.)

7-4-2 Tool

With this function you can check and edit the set tools.
Note) Only parameter No.1 can edit the tool type. Tool types for Parameters No.2~16 are set automatically.

● Tool Type
Select the tool type from the tool list (Tool Number: Tool Type).

● Tool Speed / Decimal Point Location

The tool speed and decimal point location of the tool type selected above is displayed.
The standard decimal point location is Nm. (Other units are applied for special specifications)
Except for cases that require reduction of fastening time, set the tool speed so that it will not exceed 80% of max
speed. * Maximum speed and decimal point location can not be changed.

● Spindle Adapter Gear Ratio

The standard Spindle Adapter Gear Ratio is 1.000. When changing the standard ratio, always use an external
offset gear.

When using the outside gear ratio of more than 1.000, there is a tool the following
restriction generates.
To be treated as the maximum torque = gear ratio outside the full scale torquex, the maximum
Caution torque will be 5 digits, a figure overflow occurs, it's impossible to use, it'll be.
But, when the axis ROM version is beyond [V5.18], the decimal point location is raised

● Calibration Torque 10
When tool number is entered, the tool maximum torque is set automatically.
In case equipment such as socket adapter, joint, and etc, that apply load to the tool end is equipped, or in case
the displayed fastening result value and the torque testing device result differ due to the work characteristic, you
can change this value and correct the testing device result.

The new calibration torque value

= Actual measurement torque (Testing device result) / Standard torque × Current calibration torque
(Ex.) Tool NFT-801RM3-S
Actual measurement torque : 48.0 [Nm]
Standard torque : 50.0 [Nm]
Current calibration torque : 78.4 [Nm]
75.2 [Nm] = 48.0[Nm] / 50.0[Nm] × 78.4[Nm]
The above calculation means that the calibration torque value shall be corrected to 75.2[Nm].
※Caliculate average from statical data and calibration value in accordance above method when
calibrating.
(Sample numbers are statically standard 20 times and conduct the calibration.)
*In case any changing becomes necessary, please contact our company.

● Angle Correction 25
Angle correction shall be set when twisting occurs to the tool end and fastening material during
fastening and correction of control angle or displayed angle becomes necessary.
Under normal conditions, the value shall be set at zero.

● Standard Torque 13
Set the standard torque value. (Torque Method)
You are not able to enter a value that exceeds calibration torque.
When standard torque is set as 10.0, fastening will be performed until fastening torque reaches 10.0[Nm].

● 1ST Step Torque 15
1ST Step Torque is the temporary stop torque that synchronizes fastening at Multi axis fastening.
It is the point where the 1ST area ends starting from fastening.
It is the measurement ending point of torque rate 1.
The torque gradient (the gradient of torque and angle) from [17 Threshold Torque] to
[15: 1ST Step Torque] is measured and judged.
A value that exceeds calibration torque can not be entered.
When you are not using 1ST Step Torque at Angle Method, enter the calibration torque value.

● Freerun Speed 51
Set the high speed rotation speed of the process starting from socket matching and ending just before screw

● Slowdown Speed 52
Slowdown speed is the speed after Freerun Revolutions starting from the start of fastening. Set the
speed short of fastening the bolt. When fastening is performed at high speed, scar and burns may
occur between the fastened object and bolts. To prevent this, do not set a value that exceeds 100rpm.

<Available setting range: 0 rpm ~ Tool’s Maximum rpm >

● Freerun Revolutions 60
Set the revolution speed when changing from [51:Freerun Speed] to [52:Slowdown Speed].
When Freerun Revolution is achieved, the process will reduce speed to Slowdown Speed.
<Available setting range: 0.0 ~ 99.9 revolutions >

● Torque Inhibit Revolutions 61

Set the revolutions to perform torque inhibition from the start of the fastening process.
When 0.0 is entered, torque inhibit is not performed.

when fastening is finished.
Normally, the torque recovery process shall not be performed. Therefore set the Torque Recovery Time at 0.0.
