Registration Process

Secret code has been mailed to each
student on their registered id. It will
also be visible on Campus Commune

 Before logging in, students
should delete cached files by
pressing Ctrl + Shift + Del,
ensure the checkbox for
'Cached Images and Files' is
checked and then click on
'Clear Data'. Ignoring this
step might cause the
erroneously cached files to
misbehave on the site.

 • Students should use logout
button to close their active
session or else they will have
to wait for 15 minutes to log
in again.
• The timer of 6 hours will not
stop once students start the
contest by clicking on “Start
contest” on any account.

 Before students submit a solution
on CodeVita system, they have to
select whether they have referred
to any external source code or not.
If ‘Yes’, then they have to give the
complete link/URL of the code.
If codes are not attributed but
referred from external links, then
the entry will be considered under
plagiarism and hence disqualified.

 • CodeVita is an open book
contest.
• Students can install the
accepted compilers and
interpreters on the local
machine, build codes and
upload the final code with the
correct file extension OR they
can use the online editor on the
platform itself and submit the
same.

 Solutions should be submitted
only as per the accepted file
extensions and not as .pdf/.doc,
etc.
