IV. Activity:
The teacher will introduce to the class about the “HUGOT activity”. But this
time the students will relate the “Hugot lines” about the words “Safe, Careful,
or Prevention”
Example of a “Hugot line”:
“Why are you always keep on telling the other people to keep safe? If you
just need to be with me to be safe forever”
Give enough time for the students to think, then choose three to five (3-5)
students to share their “Hugot Lines”.

Ask the students how they can relate the discussion in our daily
lives.

d. Generalization:
Safety must be a primary consideration for all persons working with
equipment, machinery, kilns, and dry and wet materials in Visual Arts.
Work can be carried out safely if students follow the appropriate
 procedures and precautions. Students have the responsibility of
learning and understanding the appropriate safety procedures for the
work being conducted. Further, each student has an obligation to
consult the instructor for help when safety procedures or instructions
are not clear.
